Can't find WAN IP and must I forward ?
Hey,
when I execute cabal_install.sh and it wants to know, if it should find my WAN IP, it can't find my WAN IP. After 3 Minutes I cancel the operation.
And must I forward the ports to play on my server, because I can't connect to my server and I don't forward the ports.
Thanks for help.

Sorry my bad.
Can anyone move it to right section ?
Re: Can't find WAN IP and must I forward ?
A mod will move it soon
Do you have a router/modem connection?
Re: Can't find WAN IP and must I forward ?
If cabal_config cannot find your WAN IP then either centos cannot access the internet at all, or the DNS server in your centos network config is wrong/missing. Type "setup" at the centos terminal to get to the network config and check the DNS servers are the same ones you see when typing "ipconfig /all" from windows.
Try pinging google from windows to get it's IP and then ping the IP from centos. If that works and pinging google doesn't it's DNS.
Re: Can't find WAN IP and must I forward ?
I have a router and when I try to ping to www.google.de it can't connect and my real PC doesn't have internet anymore ._.
When I have a Router my DNS is like 192.168.1.9 for example
and what comes into DNS 2 ? 192.168.1.7 for example or from where I get DNS 2 ?
