New release sPatch v0.9 (alpha) is available.
- Completly recoded and no longer requires .NET Framework
- Graphics are outsourced to "skin" folder and can be changed to fit your desires...
- Manual patch feature removed to prevent patching without version control
- HTML view panel only supports basic HTML v1.0 (no CSS/JScript/ActiveX/...) but can now open local files

I have tried it with difrent servers, but just your's works.
all patch files and versions.sw are chmod 0755 ?
I only tested with win servern.

That's so stupid. I use the server for that much, but a simple patcher can't connect to it?! What kind of server do you use for your patchserver?
hello - i have the same problem ...
i have created 7zip pack [ element/ data/ gshop.data ] > renamed to ec_patch_0-1.xup
i have this and versions.sw [ 1=ec_patch_0-1.xup ] uploaded to my Webserver -> folder " pw/patch "
patcher.ini -> patch_server=htp://URL/pw/patch/
try patcher.exe -> connection to update server failed
-> notes are worked fine ...
You can still use the old patcher 0.8a (.NET)
I currently can't reproduce this URL error, so i can't fix it...

ronny, i think the new sPatch v0.9a not working, i tryed with my server always get Connection to update server failed.
but if i use the old sPatch v0.8a it's working perfect.
