I want make a perfect world server and i search on the forum but many links are dead.

J'ai un pc pret a tourner sous n'importe quel OS, je voudrais un systeme simple a administrer.

Les logiciels peuvent etre en anglais ca ne me pose pas de probleme, le plus embetant comme je disait, ce sont les liens morts a droite a gauche

but it will take more to set up I suggest sticking with the vary nice layout Romulan set out(nice release btw my 7 year old set her server up with it) Mind you it is a basic release

Non, le lien de ma release est toujours fonctionnel. Je l'ai testé vendredi passé...

Et iweb n'est pas un logiciel de Apple dans se cas ci XD. C'est un panel d'administration pour le serveur et la DB des personnages.

XAMPP for Linux =pour la majorité des systèmes linux connus...

Moi personnellement, j'ai toujours utilisé Debian ou Ubuntu... ca fait pas mal d'années que je les utilises.^^

Je comptais refaire mon tutoriel + release... Apparemment, j'ai pas encore fait assez simple pour tout le monde... :blink:

J'ajouterai probablement le pwAdmin de ronny1982 et d'autres nouvelles choses qui sont sortie depuis que j'ai fait ma release...

And iWeb software is not from Apple in this case XD. This is an management panel for the server and the roles DB.

Je cherche un tuto simple avec des mots en entier et pas d'abreviation.

Je ne mets pas en doute le tuto que tu as fait Romulan mais meme si tu dis que c'est simple ca ne l'est pas pour quelqu'un qui ne connait pas le domaine des reseaux

Dans un premier temps ce serait pour faire du local et ensuite partager avec les amis. donc si tu as un tuto sur comment faire tout ca, je suis preneur.

Je referai une release et un tutoriel pour monter un serveur PW sur une machine purement Linux!

Je ne ferai pas un tutoriel pour une machine virtuel local, car cela sort du cadre du montage d'un serveur PW. Pour faire une machine virtuelle y a déjà plein de wiki sur google! Suffit de chercher en fonction du logiciel utilisé (je recommande Sun VirtualBox car performant et gratuit...)

Je sais que tout le monde ne sont pas des super geek, mais quand même... A quoi bon avoir quelque chose de tout fait dans le bec sans avoir travailler dessus? Il n'y aucun mérite à cela...

Moi j'explique le minimum, après c'est aux autres de trouvés par eux mêmes!

Pas assez doués? Bah, tempis! Faut pas se lancé dans ce genre de projet si on sait déjà pas ce servir de son propre PC...

Un tutoriel pour une machine virtuelle ne m'intéresse pas. j'en ai vu sur ce même forum en effet.

Il est vrai que je n'ai pas de talent dans ce domaine, mais toi connaissais tu tout les premier jours où tu as entrepris de te faire un serveur?
Personnellement non, et c'est pour ca que je demande parce qu'un forum est un lieu de partage des connaissances entre autres.

Je travail dans l'informatique (dépannage a domicile pour particulier) et comme tu dois t'en douter ce secteur evolu sans cesse, on apprend tous les jours et on apprendra encore demain...

Le problème c'est, et je l'avoue que je ne connais pas le réseau, mais au moins je connais déjà linux la moitié des gens de ma profession ne connaissent pas et n'ont jamais utilisé un Linux. je ne prétend pas etre un geek de cet os mais je sais faire les choses de base avec.

Mais comme toujours je ne connais pas le réseau, et c'est donc pour cela que je me permet de demander a des gens qui connaissent. apres si ces gens ne veulent pas partager leur savoir tant pis.

C'est en forgeant qu'on devient forgeron. une personne pas plus bête qu'une autre et qui aura un exemple ou même une bonne explication y arrivera par la suite par elle même. et pourra ensuite renseigner d'autres personnes et ainsi de suite. je doute qu'on t'ai dis "debrouille toi" quand tu as débuté.

ce post n'est aucunement un reproche mais juste une remarque a (peut être) méditer

Pour en revenir au serveur: iweb d'après d'autres recherches est un hébergeur, c'est bien ca? mais je fait comment si je veux héberger chez moi?
Si dans ta prochaine release tu pouvait l'indiquer ce serait pas mal. a moins que ce soit trop fastidieux de faire les 2 tutos
Je pense que ce doit être simple quand tu as l'hébergement chez eux mais c'est pas mon cas^^
