It seems sELedit and pwAdmin are now in a fine state and i have some time to continue my work on sTASKedit. It's currently in developement state and not working.

If someone has some information about the tasks.data file structure, it would be nice if you can share your knowledge. I'm currently decoding the structure, but this may take some time...

i been searching for what you requested but had no luck there are many sites that half to do with the pw tasks.data but nothing to do with the structure
so i was no help on that but if theres anything else you need like ideas and such i can contribute to easy oh and what programming language are you using to write these programs?
Alpha Version for Structure Debugging:
This release is designed to explorer and verify the currently discovered tasks.data structure. Only tasks.data v1.3.6 client is supported. Please browse tasks randomly and report tasks that seems to be shown incorrect.
Following behaviour could be reported (Task ID if possible)
- Long loading time for task
- Strange / unexpected values
- Error MessageBox PopUp

I have also a project on this as well Ronny I wrote it in c# if you need to reference anything I am willing to send my source as it is fully parsed and converts from client to server.

Currently i've taken a break for a week and working on sPATCH (can't see task hex files anymore xD). But after the new release of sPATCH v0.9 i'll continue with sTASKedit.

New developer alpha of sTASKedit is available.
This release can browse 1.3.6 Tasks.data and shows nearly all data, this includes unknown bytes too. If you want to join testing, please browse tasks randomly, if you find something suspect, missing data, or you think you covered the value of unknowns please report :thumbup1:

ronny, why the sTASKeditor doesn't have converter from client to server, or server to client? eg; convert official PWI 1.4.2 task.data to server side 1.3.6 or client 1.3.6.:?:

PWI structure have to be decoded first, i'm not yet at this milestone and this seems to be hard, because the public quests added a lot of groove audit script stuff to the 1.4.2 tasks.data
First i want to make a release after some basic tests where you can make some basic edit operations to 1.3.6 client and export this to server...

ronny i found at Romulan's tool pack, it just a small tools but it can read oficial PWI 1.4.2 tasks.data and official PW Indonesia 1.4.1 tasks.data...

yeah... it only show on HEX, that's way i telling it to ronny, as i know he good at reading HEX code, and maybe he will get a new inspiration to get read all tasks.data at official PWI :lol:
Btw, before to get new tasks from PWI we must fix some bugs in the HNG Tasks.data XD

Yes HNG tasks has some errors, i.e. task 762 was skipped cause the author seems to have problems with the time based reward system... currently my structure seems to work well on 1.3.6 tasks, but there are some problems on new PWI 1.4.2 v312 tasks but i'm working on it
