Lol this is actually such a stupid question.
A vps(Virtual Private Server) is getting host ina datacenter and runs 24/7.
You aren't the host just the user, you can connect to it whenever you wan't and controle it. It's like a computer that runs all the time.
The point of getting a VPS is to get a fast machine that is on all the time.
