I just accidently went to www.gamespy.com and saw the ad to Dungeon Siege 2 multiplayer beta.
Does anyone know what it is about? I mean you have to register to get that beta, so DS2 would be played globally, or maybe it is possible to play in LAN?
Maybe anyone knows mirror to dl it (as far as I understand it is available only for gamespy subscribers), screenshots, etc, cuz there is no info about the game in the internet?

I've played dungeon siege 1 and its awesome and I've acually beat it. Its a big game, and it can be played on internet or lan.

The Full DS2 is coming out late summer 2005.
nothing new bout these screenshots cuz they were posted long time ago in www.dungeonsiege.com.
Maybe anyone knows more details about DS2?
In my opinion DS1 was the best RPG ever and I can't wait till it is released.
Maybe this "beta" version of the game allows to play not only globally? I really wish to hear more bout it!

oh, I see. I went to fileplanet and saw that the DL is only for the subscribers... and there are no more mirrors in the net, damn...

Ok, i just played it, the camera is almost exactly like Dungeon Siege 1. The graphics doesn't seem to look as good as in the screenshots so far. A game like this without a camera that you can rotate 360 degrees all around really gives me a headache, so I stopped playing after like 30 mins. :eh:
Other than that it's pretty good and really similar to Dungeon Siege 1 I have to say. :)

1. What are the required system specs.?
2. How much space does it takes on HDD?
3. For now you can play only in global server or you can play in LAN (this is very important, cuz I could dl and play with my friends) or does it required to connect to global server?
4. How many ppl you have seen while playing?
5. Any specific details like new XP system or something..?
