Website problem

Hello, I got this problem when I try to enter to my gunz website:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mssql_connect() in C:\AppServ\www\config.php on line 21

Im hosting my gunz server at a VPS, line 21 is the line where it tries to connect to hostname with the user and pass given, but everything is correct, so I think its not an error I made when configuring the website, so could you please tell me why is this? The VPS is not configurated as it should be? I already have made User DSN and System DSN, modified php.ini, and replaced a .dll on php5 folder of appserv.

happening me many times ... idk why too tbh on every site LOL
sometimes i see just the picture of the web onthing else any idea why :O
