RaGEZONE Comic Book

Lot's of boredom for me right now because no RZ server for me to play (besides mir3, which I don't want to for some reason) and my Guild Wars is giving me fits. Plus not working as much and it's summer so less classes (one) for me

SOOOOOO....... For a long time I thought it would be cool to make a RaGEZONE comic.. Not like the one's people have made in paintbrush *though some were funny/cool* but something by hand that I will scan... BUT before I do this I would like to get some opinions from people I adore (most of you guys, the people of RZ).

-Who would you like to see in the comic? *RZ Only*
-What type of comic?
------Fantasy (Like Final Fantasy style, not EROTIC Fantasy), Realistic, Funny *not stupid/immature funny*, or other
-Comic strip based (like peanuts (Charlie Brown) for example) or literature (not many pictures or none at all, but lots more text)


ANY GOOD comments to this and suggestions totally welcome, this is something I hope to do if people (YOU) would actually like to see it/read it. If not, just say and I'll lock this and we'll pretend it never happened.

UPDATE: If all goes well, I will post a thread about who YOU want to see in it! Probably about 10-20 members in total (for now). So speak up if you would like to see it! :D

Just my opinion, but most people from RZ5, despite 99% of them no longer visiting they are still legends, imo, even the romanians :p

Then again my idea wont appeal the 'new' audience of RZ.

Sounds like a really good idea. ^_^

Edit: DB... where as you DO have a good idea with the RZ legends... you have another good point. =P Those of us who don't know them or don't know them well really won't care much since we won't actually know who you're talking about. (Unless it's the few legends that are still around)

Another for fantasy/funny. Probably the coolest idea.. If I do pictures do you guys want realistic ones (like I'd have to have the person's picture, of course that won't ALWAYS be available, so I'd have to do artistic license) or more fantasy-like *cartoony depictions of the person*

Rz = a city/random fantasy type place
Each section (eg. General, Entertainment etc) = Different areas in the city/random fantasy type place

Some users = superheroes? Goodies
Others = baddies?
Other Others = background charaters that have their own little storylines/adventures/personal problems/situations going in parallel to the lame stereotypical superhero idea. All the characters paths will cross with easchother. Done in the write way that type of thing would work but it needs a VERY talented writer.
other other others = meh

If you wanna live in the past & have old shooler legends in there: fine. But the past should... Nevermind.

But other than that (tbvfh imvfhfo) only active users should earn the right to be in the comic if they do so wish to be.

I also make it a comic strip based. I find it hard to imagine many users here bothered enough to read a literiture based story online.

WOW I never saw that little flash lol I like the "Fantasy" feel of it, but not the animation tbh

About who gets to be in it! I have decided it has to be an active member BECAUSE:

1) I think we SHOULD think of the present/future more
2) I want to get the permission of the person before I put them in a comic! I think that's only the right thing to do

I'm studying up some different drawing styles.. What you WON'T see is blobs or stick people. I hope to get some supplies from a friend of mine that draws anime/magna, a style in which I used to mess about with a while ago (in class passing notes, doodling tbh).

Anyway, if more people show interest I will most definitely get it going. First I need a bit more opinions on what type of comic, than on WHO gets to be in it.

And Ionic you are right, most people can't stand to read anything longer than a few sentences online (which is why I doubt many will read this LOL).

This is also a good way for me to get back into art, and if nothing else give myself a bit of a laugh.

Ohhh.. question, though. There are a lot of different types of fantasy. Which type do you have in mind?

Realistic fantasy (it isn't historical, so it's fantasy)?
Sci-fi (advanced techonology)?
Way out there fantasy (mythological creatures in a made up world)?
Way WAY out there fantasy (mythological creatures from space that look like a cross between Godzilla, a bird, and a peagus(sp))?
other?

Nothing too out there.

Kind of like a Final Fantasy *type* world. I think of magic and monsters, that kind of stuff. Cool stuff, not ridiculous stuff that makes no sense. I'm a lover of dragons and daggers and potions and that kind of thing.

I don't plan on ripping off FF though (no chocobos) but I was thinking it would be cool to have *sort of* classes that resemebled mages, clerics, warriors, etc., but that's all in theory of course.. Have to see what people thought
