uninstall your previous webserver
->
download this XAMPP Version 1.6.6

install it (after installing DO NOT RUN IT YET)

then download this file:

then extract the file inside that .zip in the following folders:

OVERWRITE EXISTING FILE

then extract this: (ep4 ran cp GZBK)

inside your htdocs, it will look like (C:\xampp\htdocs\rancp\)

run your APACHE & MYSQL via XAMPP CONTROL PANEL
->
then go to: http://127.0.0.1/ran/install/install.php

1. Step 1 - Choose Mssql or ODBC (Choose Mssql, ODBC is not configured yet)
2. Step 2 - Now put the correct info. And example shown below.

*SQL Server Host : COMPUTERNAME\SQLEXPRESS (Change COMPUTERNAME to yous)
Database User : sa
Database Password : 1234 (Change to your pass)
*Ran Online Database : RanUser (Leave As it is)

1. Step 3 - Enter the Infos
2. Step 4 - Enter the infos

Once your done installing it then go here http://192.168.2.1/rancp/

Then You Done. Remember to use Xampp.

Tekeshi that is not the name of the folder's cp

put this in your adress bar. 127.0.0.1/rancp/install/install.php

@takeshi- check the name of the folder of your rancp in your httdocs.

BTW I got another question? HOW TO PUT NEWS? or HOW TO LOGIN TO THE ADMIN Control panel?

IT seems I cannot login using the admin creation when installing the RANCP...

and type your admin user and admin pass that you wrote when you install the cp.

You can edit the news in the admin menu.. you can see the admin menu at the left side of your browser

What EP are you?

if you are in EP4 use Ran Manager then find the Tab UserID >search the account > Find The Userpoint .. that's it.

Well ever since i worked the rancp, think it would be better if i ask my team if they will let me share the rancp.

HMMMMMM..... installing an iis in windows vista,7 is easy but i think if ur using windows xp,server 2008. If u don't have ur windows xp disk you might consider this a problem but you need to insert the xp disk to enable the iis installer to copy the files from your computer... but windows vista and 7 is not a problem...

2nd - download and extract this one - > ntwdblib.rar

but when i try to log in my admin account it cant log in
when i try to register with my control panel i cannot used the register account in my server ingame

In my database user info my registered account pass is not the same as when i registered it..

that's md5 hash , GZBK cp automatically changed it. though, u can still use your normal pass on the cp, Check your folder name ! it doesnt have to be http://ip-address/Rancp always , you should follow what's the folder name.

I am using xampp. After I registered the admin successfully, I went to login the admin site but unfortunately the page did not went thru.
