YOU NEED A V6 CLIENT!

u need a v6 client to run it, if u got another version IT WONT WORK, IT WONT... or im not 100% sure.. just test it :3

well this is a topic, most of you know my weditions, and that stuffie, so about security in game i suck, and msotly a v6 server cant have an antihack, so if the server got hacked,, i dont got worries cuz i wont lose anything the only thing i know for sure if is someone do that i will close it.

cuz i work just for people to have fun, and they hack.. wtf x.x

Dates and Current Progress:

Madrigal is done (original v6 one with NOTHING custom)

New Maps:
Exentria -Mobs from aibatts till kerns-
Polaris -mobs from jack the hammers till drillers and some kimeradons also , also 1 clockworks -
Sutney -Mobs dont remember i think i spawned glaphans or sumething :3-and 1 or 2 clockworks-
Lost Woods -didnt decide this yet, wass full of mushies, but i think ill add mobs to this laters-


Custom Weapons:
Vampire -------------level 120
ancient -------------level 130
gensyoko ------------level 140
adding bloodies -----level 110

Rebirth at level 140 to level 15 with no job and items and armors equipped
stats are set to 15 again but u gain 100 stats points

Cw drops custom items and also some cashs hop, didnt remember if i added something more.

Upgrades, pierce and that stuff, if fail the item donsnt brake, this is a bug, how ever u might like it , LOL.

clockwork AOE dont work, how ever he attacks freaking fast and make decent damage. so carefull lol.

be sure to never unequip ur weapons or ur things, cuz u will need to get that level again,
so basically DONT unequip u high level stuff, and be sure to level all ur skill exp and that things :3

stonehand, satanology, sneaker are removed due the bug of mobs paralysis.
instead of this, the get a little pump up on the attacks.

Glow is failing atm, hope i will fix that later x.x -fixed-

Also a friend of mine is adding *Bounty List* And *Collecting System From v5*

Cap level is 999, however im adding custom mobs to make it just to level 140.

On madrigal (called by me *Gensyoko* lol), u will find 3 basics npcs o.o:

Iris (Dices And Special Items Seller):
*-Pd4 For Upgrade from 1-5
*-Pd6 For Upgrade from 5-10
*-Pd8 For Piercing general suits
*-Restat
*-Dekane mince entrance card
*-Blinkwing of Exentria
*-Blinkwing of Sutney
*-Blinkwing of Polaris
*-Blinkwing of Lost Woods
*-Vampire Boxes ( click them and u will get a random vampire weapon )
*-Ancient Boxes ( Click them and u will get a random ancient weapon )
*-Gensyoko Boxes ( click them and u will get a random gensyoko weapon )
*-Cloak boxes ( click them and u will get a random special cloak made by myself and some other textures tht i found lol )
*-Cash Shop Suits And Hats, so people look diferente at least a part of hem any clothe its at 4 penyas plox :3
*-Adding later upcuts stones, eels, and later i will see what more.

Card Seller:
Well Duh! xDD, all cards from v6, element ones and piercing ones.

On madrigal entrance its a npc named Mery, who sell green for player from level 1 to levle 60 all classes, including the
ones removed on v7 *Tritiums*

Im making a *RageZone* where are custom mobs with fucking high attack speed rate, and damage will be, his is just incase
that u dont wanna rebirth more and gonna try to keep leveling till max.

Events are always on, exp levels and more.

Sure why not? It sounds fun and everything, It's just that people nowadays prefer updated stuff, so probably not even 50% of the community might not bother, even with all that pro custom edits. Though some REAL FlyFFer's out there (Like me) know that v6 was probably the best version of FlyFF out there.

dont worry, the server its jsut for people who enjoyed the v6 version, and know how to play fair, even if they know that their are some bugs and that things.

I might be able to provide you the most stable version of rune.
This includes:

1. 99.9% stable
2. Guild siege works about 35%(some missing packets and all that stuff)
3. Guildwar works
4. Pk works
5. Dueling works
6. Old arena pk without points works
7. Point recovery and all that stuff works
8. All skills work
9. Player shops works
10. Trade works

and many other stuff wich i've already forgetten by now hehe

Edit: since Mythx managed to run the v5 files, we could collect all the packets there. The only difference is that guild siege was added and collinting from mobs was removed in v5.

Just because you get 13 votes on this thread, doesn't mean people will want this at all. Afterall, the opinion of those who tend to troll on this section (98% of those who come here) is as good as nothing. And it's not only the skill system people want. I don't know if you played back then, but if you didn't, you'd understand what I'm trying to say if you had. Just, don't ruin the best version of this game with stuff from other versions. Please.

Stuff from other versions include:
- New maps (they're fugly)
- New weapons (this does not include all new weapons. A portion of what they've added would be alright, since the max level is 150. But not all of them.)
- New monsters (again, don't add them all. This and the new weapons are only included because it's a pain in the ass to level beyond 130, even with 25x experience.)
- New CS (This is something to think about. I'm not fully against this because, well, it doesn't really ruin the game if added correctly. It's just for looks, which is fine.)

that's all I can think of right now.

edit2: just finished downloading v6 Flyff client and Rune source, I'm going to mess around with it although my C++ knowledge is limited (very limited. But i'm willing to learn ;)). If anyone just wants to play around with me, I don't mind. PM me lulz

Like i said, keep it balanced. Don't go changing around every single thing like editing cities, they were made to be like that and that's how people should like them. Maybe make another poll saying what you would like to see and what you don't want on the server.

Making a v6 would be all about going old school, meaning that only real FlyFFers would play, not a bunch of idiot hackers/penya beggers etc. And yes, v6 wasn't all about the skill system, there was way more. Just the feeling of being in-game during v6 made it awesome. Though its all up to you on how you want to make it, I'm just throwing in my two cents like everyone else.

o.o well, i balanced the game, custom thing dosnt mean to remoe old stuff, its the old maps just with new textures and more threes, new maps are not form v15, are custom made, as u can see on youtube video lets fly engage, also custom weapons are form v14, and others are fomr oterh mmorpgs.

therates are normal, and the game balanced, imma try to fix some bugs also, thnks so much to semih for the server files with fixes, imma custom them, so yeah,

i think this is going live, just give me couple of day to found a host, and create the new mob spawn on the new map, cuz:

"Exentria" is the new madrigal, but that dosnt mean madrigal dont exist, exentria its a big map with mobs from level 1 to *** so yeah, this is going live, hope it works x.x

I have played since v6 and I do agree that it was one of the best.
But, People will get bored of the same thing.

Everyone has there own opinion, I'm just using the numbers from the vote to assume what people want.

I would also like to point out that I never said anything about putting in stuff from the newer versions, I meant custom stuff that hasn't been implanted after v6.

The idea of having a new main-world is not good for me, but that's because I don't like new stuff. I'll need to get used to it, eventually. If you ever get a host, I'll offer the same services I offered Semih back when he made his v6 server, regarding web-related server. That is, if you're going to work on this server for real. Don't let your v6 server lose, what I like to call, it's "v6 magic".

Went for no. Agreeing with Sparkly. People who are going to play v6, dont need no custom shit, they need the ole skool stuff they missed, because eflyff elevated version. If people would want custom shit, they will play a server with custom shit in it. I dont mind playing a virgin server that got no custom stuff, except the one that cant ruin the game like CS.

it's difficult to gain dedicated long term players on nolstagia alone, though it will be a better play system players will eventually grow bored of same old same old

it's best to keap the old that made v6 great however give players enough new to stay interested and to be outstanding amungst other servers, It is not wise and it means if anyone else becomes stable as well you want somthing that that will make you look like the better choice

and as for the cries about customizations keap in mind there is minimal to no chance of becoming succsessfull without additional content

sorry to inform you all but nolestalgia only gets you so far, just because a player or two wants to qq about suddenly not being mr. knows everything about the game and is too lazy to learn a new map should not be let you be lead astray from the fact that even if you become stable even if you gather a good player base as soon as competition surfaces you will get torn apart as players get bored and want to try more unique servers

dont beleive me? just look back to fame when it was refusing to upgrade. what happened as more developed servers surfaced ?

sure for some people same old same old is fine however it's a recipe of self destruction economicly, and ensures failure

You can just type in /quit in the window and it will make you leave the group. Then just delete the contact and its all gone.

GM powers get boring after an hour. Not worth being a GM in a pserver unless you know how to deal with people and actually can deal with them. No matter how annoying they may get, you have to keep your cool. Can't make friends and give away free shit either since it would hurt the server economy. Being a GM isn't all that easy.

Upgrade & piercing was changed on purpose. When the first version of rune came out, it was like this:
Helmet +5 on fail became helmet +4, so we simply disabled that.
Unequip your weapons thing will bug the server, yet again, caused by the rebith, so screw that.
Not to remind that PD's should NOT be sold in a npc, damn lol. They should be dropped by mobs. Same goes with the cards

I think you should add v15 madrigal with the dungeons :)

there were additions that are incompatible with v6, instances were not added untill v14 however can be done server sided but then there is the issues of additional things added to maps that I doubt the client will acsept

though new dungeons would be quite nice

also on account of rebirths I have a nice thing to suggest to scarlet next I see him that would make even rebirths agreeable

the thing is you have to use your brain and realize the more time that is spent prepping the server the more bugs get fixed and the better QOS you get

what would you rather have it get put up in a few days and it fail miserably or wait a few extra days and it become something great?

im going to the host machine naos, and putting on the server, however, im uploading the client to megaupload, and making the site, aryuchao is helping me with that, so yeah, dont worry this is not gonna eb the final server, if players are getting weird, we are getting considerations on remove the pd4 and all the stuff and make it dropeable.. so yeah..

To make an account you simply start the client write your username & password press login, you get a wrong id error then you click login again, and you're done.
