Omgawd, if this doesn't turn out to be complete and utter shit I am going to love Nintendo once again, I started to dislike them due to their "LOL WE FORGOT TO ADD THIS FEATURE TO OUR PREVIOUS DS, SO WE HAVE 5 NOW!!!" but this... this is a feature baby, hope the 3D works well, and the "Graphics Enchantments" are good.
Guess we will wait and see.

Estimated price for the hand-held is around $250-$300. I don't think I'd be willing to play 300 for a hand-held, so I'm eyeing on that new 360 since my old one doesn't work anymore.
Seems like Nintendo is killing off the PSP quick though.
oh, is that psp thing still around?
So, it's just a regular DS with a "3D screen without need of glasses" thing? Or does it have improved graphics or whatever...? :o

Good? are you mad? its just a DS that support a *little* better graphics, nothing more. best part of it everbody wants the omg 3d thing so the Ds lite will go out for super cheap which i would buy, wait untill everbody smashes their 3d ds (after about 3hrs) and resell it 250%
I've never owned a previous DS, so this would be the "best" option for me. plus the graphics on it are not a "Little" better, they're quite a huge leap.

I had one of the original DS consoles but I got a PSP instead in the end. I'm kinda wishing I still had my console as I had more fun with it. Its not really the features that makes or breaks a console for me, it the games and Mario Kart was so much fun. I wouldnt buy a new DS however. My PC is all I need for the games I want to play.

In a nutshell, 3D works by producing different images into each eye, then you merge the images together. Two images are produced on screen, then the glasses help filter them out. It's not really new. I don't think it will be fully 3D, with the glasses and such or else it would be weird. People walking around with 3D glasses, and be like "Yo you got ur 3DS with you? Let's do some POKEMON" And stuff like that.
I'm not really impressed about the graphics, it is a huge step up though. Better then then PSP.
Nintendo REALLY needs this in order to stay in the gaming market. Their taking their time on it, and are doing it right. Angle or not, their doing it without glasses like majority of the picky noobs are complaining about. I walk around with glasses every day. Nearly all day. I hardly find wearing 3D glasses weird. I can see myself buying one for sure. But not at release.
Again, you can't compare the graphics of a handled to that of a console. Because the resolution is no where near the same. Smaller screen, less work that needs to be done.
Once they make a handled that can compare with the 360 and PS3 gameplay and graphics wise that would look awesomesauce on a 40inch wide screen HDTV, then and only then, can you compare the 2.
The Nintendo 3DS looks impressive. I saw pics of the new games and the graphics are impressive. If it costs around $300, you might as well get a PS3/Xbox 360 though.
