GFX on the flamedrill

I do not play PWI myself nor any other official server at the moment, I'm curious to know whether the Flame Drill human flight is supposed to have GFX in the game on it or not? I seem to have it working but with no effects at all, just spinning movement (working model and textures). Any input would be appreciated.

I also will mention, I used a fix for the flame drill a while back when it crashed my client constantly (fix provided by ronny) but... that's where my question comes in, it works now but without effects, so i'm wondering if it's supposed to have any in PWI/official servers?

Yes its supposed to have gfx effects. To see this go to Perfect World - ecatomb's fansite click on mounts, choose human and scroll down until you see flame drill. click the image to bring up and image of what it should look like.

I have a fix for the flamedrill from Ronny but havent applied it. Im not sure if its the same fix you have or not.

That's precisely where I got my fix from... as I see it (might be my client though, somehow?) it doesn't have effects xD

I got mine working, downloaded from ronny, I think. Forgot where the thread was...

Yeah, I have beeen on that thread quite a bit actually, but for some reason the gfx on the flame drill wont show up for me anyways... no clue why not. xD

If you have room. try patching the original .pck with the flamedrill patch on a new client without ecm fixes already. I think it was mentioned somewhere about overlapping the ecm patching wont work as some require the original files. Im not quite sure how to explain it.

Want my gfx.pck?

I don't think it's a matter of having the gfx.pck, unfortunately I see that in the .ECM of Du100's working flamedrill it has something called "AutoUpdata: 1" on it... which tells me that it wont work with my client. :( ...If anyone is willing to share the higher exe with me that would be lovely but i've come across this problem before and not had a solution. lol.

Im not too sure about the correct process to do this and havent done this myself but um try downloading the elementclient.exe in aringaso's server release thread a few pages in. I believe this is the newer one. I think you may also need to change the version number in your server. I cant remember where that is though sorry.

I might do a search and see if some sort of guide exists. It would be useful for my sticky thread.
