Small Request

Alright i have searched the forums and i have learned a few things from reading most the threads in this section just got a couple questions

1, How do i completely add a new npc like for instance i added a furnace for a new set of stuff but it has the name of the original furnace and the list that it contained, i would like to know how to make a new npc with my own name and how to make a list only for that new furnace with my own name set for it.

2, How would i add a new item into the server like say a custom crafting material, with its own id and its own picture.

Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

I have added a new item and it is working perfectly but how do i change the item description?

I have figured out how to make new regular selling lists but when i try to buy the item it says service unavailable can someone help me with what i have done wrong i can see the item etc but when i try buy it, it will not allow me to.

I am stuck with crafting lists
i can make the list and all fine from what it seems but when i tell my npc to use it the npc itself vanishes so there is obviously a problem. Also what would the craft type be if i do not wish to have a craft needed and also how do i remove the level needed for the craft thanks.

It is in configs.pck. In a file named item_desc.txt

Use a clone list of pet crafting and clone the NPC to craft the pets. This works perfectly for me.

Figured out how to make craft lists properly and working without the npc vanishing.

You're using a old pwpack. Use the fixed by ronny1982 attached on my reply.

Clone a sell list in list 39 (on sELedit) and edit. It's works fine to me.

i have cloned and edited like you said but when ever i try 2 buy an item i have added to the sell list when ever i try and pay it says
"Service Unavailable"

Sorry a guide on here put me crook i was putting the selling list on line 13 which according to the guide was the line to put the selling list on.
but after looking at a different npc i saw its selling list on line 12 so i switched it and now my selling list works perfectly.

Also i have a small question.
How do i change the cash price of items thanks.

Another small question no matter how i edit the item_dec i cant get the description to work for the item. i even copied an already made description changed the id to my items and it still does not work.

You need add the new ID on the file in item_desc.txt and in item_desc_ext.txt to the descrition appears fine.

lol.. sorry just woke up stupid question disregard the question.

is it just me or are the price's shown inside the element editor off by a couple percent like
in-game says 22k for yadda yadda
and in the element editor its 20k

It's client and server side. Both needs be identical.

Both are completely the same.
from what i see its somewhat of a tax from the looks of it.
