Fixing X-Trap in your cabalmain

First of all, I would like to thanks LostSpirit to gave me the idea of all this X-Trap thing.
Well, I am going to say how I was able to re-activate x-trap again.
First, I already know that those big strings in the beginning of the CabalMain

is the x-trap server.

The one x-trap use to receive updates and other things. Then, I was looking inside the procedure to see wtf was happening so that huge string became the http. I found a really intriguing string, that latter I have discovered it was the decription key. (is? I ain’t sure).
In case, the decript key was:

Then, after 40min with no success I said: Dude, I cant to do it. And then stopped.
But I have some light and I said to myself: “If I get the HTTP and the decript key from a Priston Tale Original server (the client its not packed, I know more PT than Cabal) it should work!

And here it goes, after searching and changing to my surprise: IT WORKS! OMG

And then, I went to LostSpirit if he knew any Main from a Original Server that wasn’t packed. Then I made the changes and, bingo! I was using the LATEST x-trap, from the OFICIAL X-TRAP SERVER! And it was detecting cheats, updating, downloading, working as it should work.

Now, the best part, as I am seeing A LOT of people with hacking issues in their servers, I shall teach you how to make X-trap work, but in a main that ALREADY have x-trap! I will not teach you how to enable it, or how to disable it, in any way.

1 – Finding the cripted HTTP X-trap server
Open your main with an hex editor and search->text and put
“6609” it will reach in a string like that one above.
Now, select the whole string, but IN HEX MODE, and replace by this one:

2 – The decript key (i think its not necessary.)

That 5fe02a7a34… I THINK it is the decript key. So, if in your main, the decript key isn’t this one, select it in HEX and paste this, overwriting

Now, u must have those 2 dlls of x-trap in your cabal folder: “XPva03.dll”,”xpva00.dll”.


Done, run your cabal and, if you followed this guide correctly you must see this:

Just an observation, the X-TRAP server is from the OFFICIAL CABAL BR server.

He means that he's not going to explain how to re-add XTrap to a cabalmain that has XTrap removed, nor is he going to explain how to remove XTrap. You'll need a clean v22 cabalmain in order to get XTrap working with this tutorial.

Like I said, you just use a clean v22 cabalmain... It can be downloaded from Gamershell (Patches and Fixes: Cabal Online US Client Patch (03-03-2008) - Demo Movie Patch Download Section - GamersHell.com).

The x-trap will update till the last version, and it should update every time when a new update is coming.

Weel, you only have to get a main WITH x-trap, and then remove the enc MD5 verification, and adjust the XOR keys, and use the correct enc files for that main

I've edited and updates the server lists. For now, you can use the same x-trap that official CO BR have, and the x-trap of the official priston tale server BR.

PTBR x-trap is ver 3090 against a 295x of cabal. But not sure wich one works better in cabal. I bet its the 295x :P

not load xtrap help me T_T

Same here I have Problem I use hex editor and hex workshop but when i change the code using the given guide by Sir lelejau, Either my Cabalmain turn to corrupt or the code doesn't change it will return the default code. Im sure I do the guide there. Is there any other Helpful Guide for noobs like me ;)

Just follow the guide, step by step, and you will succeed fixing x-trap :)

he want to mean when its overwrite the adress of server of xtrap appear the error of cabalmain,is invalid win32 aplication,before the overwrite it the main had 4.169 kb,and after he edit it have 4,170 and thats he said ot make a video guide :P

X-trap isnt a DLL, its an executable renamed to *.XT. The dll just gets the HTTP Server from the Client and updates/launchs correctly the xtrap.xt

I Think you dont understand, the dll has nothing to do with the server.

The server is that big string.
If I use the dll from a tibia server, it doesnt matter, the dll will check for updates in the Cabal server, then it will check and compare, and because it isnt the dll of cabal xtrap, it will update. Understand now? :lol:

Can I make it connect to my own Xtrap server instead of the brazil one?

When i used this in lost spirit patch.. the xtrap patched and working but when i try to connect the i can connect but i cant see the WorldServer Channel.??? whats the error for that?? tnx!!

Bad configuration i suspect. We need to see the server logs so we can tell what is wrong.

Is this the newest XTrap? I mean, XTrap isn`t caching newest CE. It`s possible to edit memory with CE, e.g. range hack, skill casting time... Any solutions?

when the official xtrap updates, yours will too.

x-trap is the update. 06-03-2011 failed to load.

I'm also having the same problem in xtrap extension :/

The current latest Xtrap prevents us from updating.

You are doing something wrong.

PS: You can use ANY xtrap server.

Apparently the latest version of PT X-Trap can't be killed by xtrap banish o.o, so you guys should try it without TDP.dll, that way you can change version and everything .

the code works fine it xtrap updates to 2011 3300 version. but the banish still works xD. Its our pleasure if you can provide the COBR,s cabalmain if the banish wont work there.

They have to set compability on cabalmain.exe.
Right mouse click on cabalmain>>properties>>compability>>Win Xp Sp3>>apply.

xtrap will autoupdate normaly if you follow this guide.

I did this, however it does not work. Did it on a clean v22.

Only Priston Tale adress working . Other ones are not I tried hosts method also . But PT adress giving another error . It says exe is not seems normal and memory modification program working background but it's not true :S Also I tried another cabalmain without xtrap but it can't connect channel . I am near to crazy . Made everything true but only xtrap killing me :S
