ive got a problem with the mangosd.exe..
when i open it it just closes within a second
(i've got windows 7 home premium 64-bit if that could be a problem)

Check the text file Server.log to see what printed before it closed.

@GabberDaan Windows 7 home premium 64-bit should not be a problem that is what I got. It sounds like you forgot to make a maps folder. MaNGOS is different from Arcemu you need to have a maps folder for MaNGOS to run. Place the "ad" extractor into your WoW game folder and open the "ad" extractor. When it is done extracting move your map folder to C:/Winkdogs 3.3.5 Repack/MaNGOS folder. And if you are still having problems do what Akreao said to do and copy and paste the error here so I can help you.

uhm is it normal that everythime it says mangos.exe dossent work anymore i have extracted maps - vmaps and putted them in mangos folder
well after some time 2 mn ore like that i want to login on the 55 DK there is made it dossent let me enter the world it close's automatic mangos.exe ore when i want to create a charr it wont even happen and after a time i get the same shit again.

I only know of one way to make it public (there are other ways such as DynDNS stuff but it hard for me) I use a program called Hamachi that connects computers together over an internet LAN pretty much.
You and your friends need to download hamachi. https://secure.logmein.com/products/.../download.aspx
When you start hamachi, create a new network name it whatever you like and put a password if you want to make it more secure.
If you notice on the top of your hamachi window thing it will have a IP address for your hamachi account. This IP is what you change your realmlist to in your DB. Should be under something like realmd->realmlist.
So your SQL table for that realm should look like this.

Save that and then tell your friends to connect to your hamachi server and change their realmlist in \WoW\Data\EnUS\realmlist.wtf
to your Hamachi IP address (same as the realmlist you just changed)

Your realmlist could be either 127.0.0.1 or your Hamachi address.

Wow, that's very easy OO Normally you have to change like 3 files and shit XD And I belive the account passwords are sha something something XD You can download program that can encrypt into theese codes, but using the mangosd.exe is easiest XD So stick to that.

You should remind that of people in the readme. I tried my Arcemu maps but it failed, got the same issue as GabberDaan.
Also, a request - you should change the username/password to admin/admin to make it easier to spell. It takes less time and it's the same as the Arcemu servers.

Hey, I have a quick question about using hamachi for my server. I set up the server and it works fine for me, and i've used hamachi before so I'm not having any trouble with it, my question is just how do i open up the SQL table to change the IP address? Thanks.

I Use Windows7 Home Edition x64bit and my mangos.exe crashes so many times, cuz don't identify Maps And Vmaps...
I Don't Understand... I use the TOOLS from the pack.
Umm. I must tell you that my version is enUS ... does it possible if the tools are for enGB maybe there is the problem... I Hope on your help...

Hey sepulturys, i had the same problem, but the answer is simple, You have to download the little files "Net Framework 4" & "Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Maintenance", but there are 2 versions of the 2nd one, one for the 64bit, and the other 86bit, I tried them both on my 2 PC-s , and then Mangos didn't crashed.
Believe me, it really works!!!!!
