Like the title says, i am making a few series of Launchers, and it wouldnt be to hard to make a few for someon else to,

So, let me do the work for a personal launcher WITHOUT freaky config files :laugh:
Oh my, looks like someone learned some Visual BASIC. Two command buttons with simple coding inside of a single form with an image background of the winter 2008(?) loading screen that also has a web browser component with the URL set to news.php file on a website (That's at least how I would do it, it makes it easier) and a label with a non-transparent background. Good job, now try making it actually patch and add a progress bar in there. Also, you could add a Register button that would make the browser component go to the register page. Also, make that label transparent or just remove it and put it in comments inside the code. Then you'll have neoncube with non-customizable settings and images!
Then it would not be a launcher for starters, would it?
You know, i made these just against those .Config files and as a starter launcher, not the harder-to-setup neoncube ( And yes, im using neoncube my self )

I personally think neoncube isn't that hard >,<
I think it's much better than this + it has update support :)
And neoncube isn't hard to setup.
It's easyer than any other launcher I have seen so far :P
IDK, there was that old old old one that had the .nconfig file where you could put in the web url and server ip and it would go go go, but u could use it for any server just by changing the ip.Quote:

Neoncube can be confusing for beginners but it has a lot more to offer then what you are.
All your doing is making something they can do them selfs in batch but making it pretty. Rather then make one for them, why not make a tutorial teaching people how to do it themselves?
Oh wait, Ive done that already.
Better yet, make a launcher that patches to .vfs files, the .vfs file format has already been reversed and posted on many of sites.
