i dont really know
><
a part of me wants to see one and the other part dont ><
sometimes that feeling scares me, especially when i just watched a horror movie...
my imagination is scaring me... ><
well i wouldn't really say that i believe in them,
although i would find it verry cool if they were real :D
I belibe in them but never really saw one but I saw some reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaly scary pics o.o
I believe that people may be able to leave impressions of themselves on their surroundings, which can come back as 'echoes' when suggestive minds enter that area. Studies have shown that reports of paranormal activity happen at a much greater rate when there has been a recent traumatic death in the surroundings, and/or there are currently young teenagers living in the house/area.. There are all sorts of brain-chemical changes which happen during puberty that are hardly (or not at all) understood, and these might in some way supplement manifestations of these 'echoes', to the point where abnormal temperature changes, sounds and even parakinetic activity (movement of objects) and hallucinations can take place. :ghost2:
I don't believe for a moment that people can maintain a conscious presence in a place after death, but I do know that the human mind is far from understood, and seems to me the most likely explanation for tens of thousands of events like this... :george:
P.S: Just because I don't believe in them doesn't mean I don't love scary movies though! :D
I Believe in Spirits. or "Super Natural" beings that we have yet not Confirmed 100%.
-Scary stuff happens when you areint lookin
i believe whole heartidly in spirits and such
I believe that pretty much all of those 'scary things' exist in some way, shape, or fashion. I just don't think all are scary.
I haven't seen a ghost that I know of, but I have heard several good and several bad encounters between them and friends I used to have.
Then I have meet a girl who said she was a witch. She was really nice. ^_^
I like DaRcAntiX's belief... it's very well worded and makes sence.
all nonsence...
*Sits in comp chair thinking is somthing in the hall, then thinks no its just my dog... Then looks into hall way too see a Warewolf ghost AHHHHHH*
I believe in them, never really seen one tho. I just know they exist, I fail to believe we live in such a boring world. I would love something mad to happen, not like WW3 tho
Yes, most common myths (vampirism, werewolves, etc) have some basis in truth (usually stemming from rare medical conditions which were of course not understood at the time when these tales became popular)..Quote:

hehehe, I don't know that witchcraft quite falls in the same category.. well maybe depending on who you ask really.. most wiccan beliefs are centered around channeling your own body's energy and that of the earth/elements; they're more spiritual than supernatural, at least in my experience (which is not extensive but I've had some encounters).Quote:

Thankyou. I enjoy being able to type normally for once, instead of purposely dumbing it down to ensure international users can understand/translate what I'm saying (common precaution I have to take when offering support in the MuOnline section).. Hope I don't come off as too nerdy :geek: lolzQuote:

Heh. This immediately made me think of a fear I used to have as a kid... I could never look at myself in a mirror out of the corner of my eye, only looking directly at myself, because if I looked slightly upwards, or to the side, or whatever.. this is going to sound freaky.. I always seemed to see my reflection screaming, or turning into a snarl, or starting to melt.. it still gives me the willies sometimes lolQuote:

hmm never mentioned that anywhere before..
I was actually planning on making some kind of artwork about it, but I don't know what :eh:
I don't think you're coming off as too nerdy. ^_^ You're reinstating things that I've read/learned a long tim ago in a way that's interesting and I couldn't pull off. ^_^ Thanks. =DQuote:

Yes, I believe they exsist. But some of the garbage they use on tv programs such as the discovery channel, make them look fake. (Like goggles that sense heat being left off dead bodies or spectral glow's is what I mean.)
I dont believe in Ghosts but Jens
What is a Jen?Quote:

btw, we Lutherans don't believe in ghosts either, but demons. I'm guessing a 'Jen' is similar....?
I believe in them. But I never want to see one. I'm too scared.I thought it was spelled Jinns.Quote:

There are ghosts, but they cannot come to our world (the physical). They must stay in their own (the spiritual). Unless god or the devil allows them to pass through..........
well,kinda...
i mean about witches i don't,but if you take all the reports about seen
strange things it looks like there are ghosts. =/
no i don't believe in ghosts....
I really dont know what Jens or Jinns are really. When i was at the mosque i was listening and heard the person talking about em. Saying they are like ghosts!!
yes ..
Better question, give me a good reason not to believe in em'. Devilru your signature is going to give someone a seizure.
Ghost and all Super Natural things are just the Result of Religion and People being Scared of Death, When will people Learn that Humnas are Just Meat on a Skeleton there is no Spirit or anything Invovled we are just like every other Creature but where Lucky enough to have Evolved Inteligence.
Thankyou :)Quote:

Check it out, I like this interpretation. (just got it from a google search for 'jinn')
Oh, and a quick bit of info about the naming:

"Has anyone here ever been close to a ghost?"
Most people put down their hands, but there were still several raised. As a joke, he then put to them the question:
"Has anyone here ever participated in a sexual act with a ghost?"
After a bit of a chuckle, he was startled to notice a hand remained up near the back of the room. Somewhat bewildered, he asked of the man,
"You sir, you've had sex with a ghost?!!"
The man paused, sheepishly put his hand down and mumbled, "Sorry, I thought you said goat."
:D
donno...never seem a ghost but my grandma says she has. Whenver someone close to her has died she says she has seen them after they have died and also says she has dreamed of them before they have died. I findit weird, but its not enough to truthfuly make me a believer in ghosts.
I believe in ghosts, 100%. It'd be very hard to convince me to believe that there are no such things as ghosts.
put here the most scary thing you've ever seen
And i asked my dad and he said that he saw his mother the day she died :P
I do but i dont o.O belive in ghosts dunno why
i always watch most haunted :)
I hope there is an afterlife, because at least then we would all get what we deserve.
if sum ppls believe in after-lives, are there before-lives ?
i dunno, i'm a bit confused :S
I believe in ghost, spirits, exorcism, witchcraft... yeah u understand.
Well ... u can guess my opinion ...
never have beleived in ghosts and never will.
If something ' spooks ' me i just go find out what is making the noise, i live in an old victorian house and the floorboards creek all the time due to temperature change.
