ACE-Pack Spoonfeed Edition - ep3 items/mobs

What this includes
-ep2 Database with ep3 items/mobs
-Episode 3 files & quests
-Server manager (by me)
-compiled omi with ep3 items
-GM Tool by me. With ep3 items and mobs.
-Admin Tools pre-configured with default user/pass for the database.

There are setup text files in the extra folder. Really simple, anyone with half a brain should be able to set up a server using these. When you have everything ready, just run WatchProcess.exe and the server will start.

Note: The server exe's need to stay in the bin folder for watchprocess to work correctly. Also keep config_root.cfg in the same folder as watchprocess.exe

i did it like you wrote it in the txt file, server is starting fine.
But if i start the Client (Ace Online client) it says: Download the client again. Newest Version 1.0.0.0

what should i do?

Hi ArcticWolf, i found Database folder: atum2_db_1 (file) and atum2_db_account.bak. I can't restore atum2_db_1, though i try change into atum2_db_1.bak.Help me, thanks

Use MSSQL 2008 R2.

Set Version in the global.cfg from 1.0.0.0 to 0.0.0.0. Then it should work.
In the version.cfg set it to "1.0.0.0 1.0.0.0".

Then in your client set it to the same thing as the version.cfg.

omi.tex is generated by the ADMIN TOOL, patch the admin tool with my patcher and you can generate your omi.tex file.

Open "5000_SCMonitor_MS145(Gameforge4D)_Eng(Main)" -> Tools -> InfoGenerate and I patched all ips; so just make sure u select a server with "atum2_db_account" and press Generate

Make sure u select an updated localization path, etc....

You need to take the objs from an ep3 client and add them to ur client, you also need to generate your own omi.tex

You won't be able to. 2005 is crap anyway. It's better if you use 2008 r2

i made my omi.tex, but when i move the mouse on a new armor i say the error, and when i try to dress it the game crashes :-S

He's right. Someone could be nice and script both db's for you but I dunno, just install r2?

I can assure you that this package doesn't need a video or more then 10 lines in a txt file about the setup. If you are missing items or having problems with items it's because your client is missing stuff. Once your client is sorted you won't have those problems. :)

You start with the flysis one. That client will connect and have stuff working in it, after that you need to sort out your client details (ie, missing items, broken maps, etc).

Ok so the databases are in, atum/callweb set for both of them, IP is 127.0.0.1. Put in the map .dats and omi.tex etc. Try run server theres a whole bunch of iocp init errors blabla.. and the client says failed to connect to server, what did I do wrong this time..?

Copied it for external IP (which has mine listed instead) and 127.0.0.1, restarted system after. No change with server start. There is a bunch of IPv6 addresses in there as well don't know why but they're at their defaults disabled..

u mean pccallagent ...in odbc click add-microsoft acces driver-data source name"PCCallAgent"-database : D:\Server\Aceonline\scvoip\scpccagent\pccallagent.mdb

Couldn't show the SQL server management studio screens since I can't get in to it anymore.. all of a sudden the local logon using windows auth isn't working aka locked out of my own database:huh:

The folders didn't do anything, if im missing them than that means this server pack isn't complete to start with.. what you saw was in the rar from the first post. Same errors and still can't connect to my own database now something with the 9979 ports broke it.

Nothing changes.. so somethings wrong with the MSSQL then and god knows what. None of the server packs have any directions on how to properly setup MSSQL either.. sigh.

these are my files i have 100% e1-e40 succes rate legending from 30-100 100%
EP3 weapons,armors,....,pandea mobs,event mobs,and some IF mobs i have some accounts on them ...doesnt matter ...for this to work u will need :
1.Omi.tex :omi.tex - Dedicated Web Hosting Service
2.Ress obj from ace online
3.Ress eff from ace online
3.From res tex u will need bigitem,item,weapon,
4.Maps from flysis..the AO maps have some bugs...i dont know why..

I don't think its the database, preserver is complaining its not getting a connection to it so its something being either i added the user wrong, setup ODBC/DSN thing wrong or setup the TCP/IP wrong.

I can't tell if they work cause I still can't get the server to start.. preserver won't get a bloody connection to the database.

I think ill take a break from this and try again when theres the "One guide fits all and with WORKING instructions etc" guide posted like 5 people on this forum said they're going to post.. tried like 4 different "server packs" and each had different files and different instructions.. ugh. Preserver was still giving the same problem with all though.

Couldn't show the SQL server management studio screens since I can't get in to it anymore.. all of a sudden the local logon using windows auth isn't working aka locked out of my own database:huh:

Those errors are most likely caused by mismatching System DSN settings in the ODBC. To fix it, you'll need to make sure those settings match the ones in the global.cfg file, or the other way around.

To make things easy, clear all entries related to the server in your System DSN list and run odbc_x64.reg, assuming you're on a 64-bit system. If you didn't edit any of the entries that were added using the .reg file, then skip this step.

After that, open your global.cfg and scroll to the bottom and edit the settings like so:

Hey guys i tried to setup a ep2 server it was ok but the quests had some problem. So i tried getting this one working instead but i cant get the server connect to the databases. What i think might be the problem is that theres no user atum but i dunno what exactly this user is and how to make one. Anyone can help? Btw i didnt have this problem with the other server even if i set em up the same way.

Found how to solve obdc after all and how to make account. But the field server crashes when i startst loading the quests...
