Small Question2

Hey,

I'm just wondering how i would fix instance's for instance all my Devil map instance's do not work even when the maps are open
some say "Unable to enter instance" and others do not do anything at all.

Any help would be much appreciated.

My maps are out of phaze with the servers for obvious reasons since i don't have water but i do not posses the chinese client to replace the maps water models
If someone could post a download link and tell me what i need to replace would be great.

There is a fix posted for fixing the "map data out of phase with server" however I couldnt get it to work and it doesnt affect anything so I left it as is.

As for the water I uploaded the world map from the hgn client which is what I use to fix it on mine however I would recommend you use Ronny's method instead.

Didnt fix anything,
a24 - devils arcadia = still "unable to enter instance"
a26 - blasphemy = still does nothing no msg or anything.

Have not attempted yet as i have been occupied trying to get my 109 instance's to work and sorting out "maps out of phaze with server"

Ok i have the water working now.
just the 109 instances and "maps are out of phaze with the server" problems left

Region.sev
precinct.sev
to see if that would help but surely enough failed i just cant enter into the instance's

for map out of phase error just use ronnys tool to convert client-side to server-side:

region.clt => region.sev
precinct.clt => precinct.sev

Yea didn't do anything still same problem.
1 does not do anything

hmm... not a litmodels problem; are you using pwAdmin ?

Yea i use pwAdmin
The maps open fine.
everything works perfectly just not the 109s

hmm, so the maps stay running ok the whole time? Double check after a duration of like 5 minutes after starting them... I have had some problematic maps that appear to start ok through pwAdmin, but ended up dying like 3~5 minutes afterward. (and if I tried to enter them quickly after starting them, even though it had said starting them was successful I was not able to enter them)...

Check that first to make sure they continue to run after like 5~10 minutes. If that is a success at least we can rule out anything server side ;)

I believe FB109 is removed in the new PWI and is replaced by Warsong City, I'm sure I've read that somewhere.

I don't know if this is helpful but it might be the problem since I can't enter the demon FB109 either and it doesn't say 'unable to enter instance'.

yes FB109 has been removed/changed in PWi newest version. That is why we must use old files from litmodels to make it work, see: http://forum.ragezone.com/f452/dungeons-fb-656024/
if you look at the very first images in that thread that is what exactly will happen if you try to use new map folder from modern client. If you modify litmodels (and whatever is instructed in that thread; been a while since I done it) you will have a working FB109 cave for our private servers ;)

Now... I gave him my FB109 working litmodels and he is still having problems... so back to the troubleshooting boards :\

I threw together a quick RAR for you of my client and server sides for a24 & a26. Give them a whirl see if it does ya any good:

Oh and I am of course assuming that your spiritual cultivation is properly set (assuming so since you can successfully enter the Demon World). Of course if it wasn't, that would be creating problems for you too...

I started and tried to enter upon start up of the map for no change all the maps start and stay up no problems what so ever

Ok i tried this.
Everything started fine maps and all.
But still have the same problem. i used you're litmodels also for no change still the same problem's :(

Could it be that all my client maps are English
For instance my demon world is the English version there is no significant difference between the my/pwi demon world other then names of the map and mini-map
But i don't see a problem all my other maps work perfectly not a problem apart from frost but other then that
its just demon world instance's that have a problem.

I have checked my logs of the 2 maps and they have no errors they are running perfectly without a problem.

I have no idea what the problem is.
Residence of blasphemy "Gives no error in-game no unable to enter instance just does nothing"
Devils Arcadia "Just gives unable to enter instance"

The only thing i have not tried is another client to see if it is my client that is the problem obviously its the client of course but i have followed the somewhat guide on what to do to fix it. but no change at all same problems.

Ok i have fixed "Devils Arcadia"

But i cant get residence of blasphemy to work at all.
i get no in-game message telling me i cannot enter the instance its like the instance is not running at all though the map is open according to my pwadmin console.

Any ideas.

Could someone be so kind as to into there 109 instance and log out there and go into there pwAdmin and paste me there coordinates please so i can test if it is my server side that is not allowing me to enter so i can completely rule it out of the equation because if it is not then it is a client side issue
or it is something to do with the teleport not actually teleporting me into the instance.

Though most do know exactly what i am on about but if you're instance works and you try to give me the cords just like this for instance

I haven't gotten my 109 maps working yet either, but only because I've been busy on other things. The problem is that the PWI client doesn't have an instance teleport in front of the door there in your screenshot. You need to add one. It's not that the instance isn't working, it's that the game doesn't know you're trying to enter it.

Ok so what exactly do i have to edit to add the teleport into the instance to get inside?

I'm working on that as we speak... Out of curiosity though, what did you change to get your devil's arcadia working? Just realized mine's doing the same thing. xD

yea its obviously not there for me since i just downloaded the hgn client to see what would happen when i try to go into it.
and yea it gave me the unable to enter instance where with my client it does not do it. so yea tele is not there.

Hmm, strange... I'm still getting the "Unable to enter" msg, even with your files. What was changed?

litmodels.pak from further up the list that may help you also.
also another thing i did when i fixed Arcadia was fixed the map data is out of phaze with the server.

Does anyone know how to add a teleport because from what i have been told here and from the looks of the 2 clients i have.
my main client that i use for my server is missing the 109 teleport
and the HGN Client i downloaded to see what would happen if i tried to enter the 109 instance has the teleport

I still cant figure this thing out no matter what i change i can't get the 109 instance to work.

My client i get no response what so ever no matter what i change
and with the hgn client i get "unable to enter instance" <- meaning once i fix the map is out of yadda yadda i enter fine with that client.

I have changed maps/tasks/pcks/ pretty much everything and changed server side as well to no end for no change's
i don't wish to use the hgn client because i have already done so much with my current.

Does anyone have any idea why i cant get it to work with my current client

The portal just does not wish to work within my current client
my current client is official client + Downgrade patch = Everything works perfectly apart from this 109 instance.

did u try taking the map for that dungeon from the HGN client and adding it to your clients map folder? make sure u backup a copy of that map before trying that though

Pretty sure i have.
But even then if i had or had not
i still get no in-game message telling me "i cannot enter" etc
and just stands there looking pretty engulfed in blue light lol.
