[HELP]How to properly insert/edit an item using pwAdmin
on the Characters tab of pwAdmin, how to properly edit or insert an item.. and where to find information regarding those text fields?
what to put on GuID 1 / GuID 2 / Proctype / Mask / Position / Expire / Staked / Max / HexData :?:
i know Item ID can be found on the elements.data but only the image is being changed when i tried the edit function..
for example, the default wand of a Yu Ling, when changed to a Bone Wand still has the same stats of the default and not of a Bone Wand.. only the item icon, name, and sprite changes.. :?:
need help here, not familiar with those things..
Re: [HELP]How to properly insert/edit an item using pwAdmin
GuID1: See here http://forum.ragezone.com/f452/pwadm...5/#post5638672
GuID2: I usually set the GuIDs to 0 when making items.
Proctype: This is whether the item is bound or not
Mask: Not entirely sure what this does. I think I ususally put this as 0 also. You can find some info on it here.

Position: This is the position in your inventory/bank. It begins at 0 in the top left and moves from left to right until you reach the end. You cannot have more than one item in the same position or outside the bounds of your inventory/bank or your server will crash and you have to fix it.
Expire: How long the item will last for before it expires
Stacked: Number of the item you have stacked in inventory/bank
Max: Max number you can stacked in inventory/bank
Hexdata: See the following link for hexdata.

If you wish for a pdf version of the guide just ask me and ill post a link to it.
Re: [HELP]How to properly insert/edit an item using pwAdmin
I appreciate this.. thank you very much.. I would read and try things out.. Also, if you don't mind.. kindly post a link for the PDF.. my FoxIt Reader is faster than my MS Word 2007..
I see, so "Position" kills me when you define it that way.. Thanks again.. :)
