Many years ago I used to play this browser game, back then the game was pretty 2 sided (only 2 clans had a real chance) and it was heavily based on clicking.

That has changed, due to changes in the way income works (you can have a big income without even clicking), but also how clans/alliances work, you can now have an alliance, recruit people in that (you are not required to be someones officer), discuss stuff with people in that, so you can request whatever help etc within the game.

The game is fairly easy to play, but there is still a lot of strategy and all that.

Personally I feel like it's worth playing again and I hope some of you want to play with me. I've created a RaGEZONE alliance, post your name here and I'll pm you the link to join it.

Please do not use this thread to exchange clicks, by all means feel free to post your link if you wish to recruit people as officer, though only please do that if you are in 'my' chain - yes I know that sounds a bit dictator like, personally I would be willing to join under a Smod or even MentaL himself if he decided to join (same with the leadership of the RZ alliance), but I think it's a bad idea to have several different chains. Ofcourse you are still free to do what you want, but with the idea of making this strong it would be best.

So I hope some of you will join, if you want to know anything then let me know. It's pretty low maintenance so you can just do it in between other games, work or whatever, most of the time logging in every 8 hours or so would be enough, and then you can just save up your attacks for a big one at 1 point.

Beginners guide:

Ok so you just joined KoC and now what?

Now obviously this game has quite a few options, but the easiest way to learn stuff is to just do it, eventually you get the hang of it.

The menu:
Command Center - Your basic information, your rank, amount of soldiers, your income, level of upgrades and most importantly, your stats.
Attack - Here you can see everyone in the game, who to attack and all that.
Attack Log - These are the people you've attacked and who have attacked you.
Conquest - Tbh, not sure what this is about, wasn't in the game last time I played, but for now just leave it, tried it twice, crappy rewards.
Armory - Here you can see what weapons you got and you can buy new ones here. At the bottom you are also able to upgrade your attack or defense power.
Alliances - Here you can see your alliances and check info, post messages in 1 etc.
Training - Here you can train soldiers (you always want your men to be trained if there is a weapon available for them), upgrade your skills, 2 of them require money, the other 2 require experience gained during combat.
Intelligence - Basicly the spy equivalant of attack log, here you can see who spied on you (if you caught them) and who you have spied on and you can check the details of those actions.
Recruit - Here you can get morale, which is basicly everytime you click someones link by entering the letter, you will give them 1 soldier and you will get 1 morale, eventually someone else will click you for that morale. You can also give away morale and you can choose to only click for friends.
Mercenaries - Tbh, not important for most players.
Buddy list - Don't need to explain that.
Logout - same as above.

Strike Action - Attack damage
Defensive Action - Defensive damage
Spy Rating - How good your spies are
Sentry Rating - How well you can capture enemy spies.


Now to start out you want to go to training and train 2-3 attack soldiers and 1-2 spies, then go to armory and buy the best attack weapon you can get.

Then go to attack, you want to look for someone with a nice amount of money, however stay in your own range. Now remember, a persons rank is based on average, some people have a massive defense but nothing else, that keeps their rank down, but makes them completely out of your league, so evaluate before you even spy on them if they would be doable, someone that has way and way more money then the rest, probably is too strong for you. So find a target click then and click Recon Now!, now you will get a report (or you get caught, in that case get another spy and find a new target), what you are looking for is Defensive Action, that needs to be lower then your Strike Action (can be found in command center), preferably about 10-20% lower, then go to the bottom and click Attack/Spy Again and choose Attack. Don't go for Raid, from what I can tell Raid is aimed at killing their guys. Now you will have quite a bit of money, go to the armory, and get a attack and spy weapon, attack to obviously attack, and spy to spy on higher targets.

Now when you attack people you will gain experience, in the training screen you can use that to upgrade your economy or technological development, the first is to get a higher income, very important if you don't plan to click a lot (but even if you click still worthwhile), the other gives you more damage, this makes your damage go up 5% with each upgrade.

Another important aspect of the game is sabotage. Spies can sabotage other peoples weapons, now I don't know how this works yet, I've read something about having to have atleast a X amount of items before you can sabotage it, but I'm not sure yet, for now don't worry too much about it though.

Now this is all quite some information, just check it out, test it, especially in the beginning you will pretty much never be a target, people will start targetting you mostly at night, probably just before you wake up, because at that moment your money will have built up nicely so they will take it.


This all gives the game different kind of tactics, if you upgrade everything at the same time, your rank will go up fast, but you will be among people who focus on 1 or 2 stats, making their attack power or defense much higher then yours, so they can steal your money while you have to go back 20 pages to find a target, so again, in the beginning you can just do your thing, but later on you want to consider some tactics, personally I'm aiming for a huge defense with high spy and sentry to defend myself and help others and just build up money by not loosing much, others might go for a smallish army with lots of weaponry and good sentry to keep it from being sabotaged, and just use your attack power to keep getting stronger.

Nice, same here. I used some experience to upgrade research, but it gave me a x1.05 strength, not that great at the beginning.

Anyway from what I can tell raids cause a lot of casualties where is the regular attack mostly just steals.
So basicly if you want to take revenge on someone, raid them several times, if you just want money, attack them.

Such games are great when you just want to pop on, say at work, for a minute to check and do whatever... leave it be, come back later in a few hours time and do whatever again, etc.

Indeed. They are not ment for constant play, which is a shame at the beginning, I got the same thing right now (only started today myself), but then you got a day where you are doing something else and turns build, at night obviously they build up etc etc

Not much you can do about it, aside ofcourse from upgrading your defense.

I had almost a million this morning, but then again the people around my rank have a lot more, I'm averaging about 1.8 million per attack now.


Also check your inbox and join the RaGEZONE alliance, 1 advantage is that people tend to skip people that are in alliances, especially at lower ranks. I mean who do you rather attack, someone that plays alone or someone that plays with others?

Conquest is a great way btw to get experience. Cost you 10 turns but you get 50 experience for it while normally you get that from a normal attack that costs you 150.

Just make sure to keep doing the new conquests, ofcourse just aslong as your attack power is higher then their strength.

Got mining now, 1600 inc per minute. :D Got a total now of 4,182.

Just a quick note, don't be discouraged by people having huge amounts of money and units, most of the time if you click on attack and check when there last highest rank was you can see when they last played, if its more than 2 weeks they will almost always have no items so even with 4000 units if they have no armour their defence action will be less than 1000 :P

Btw Conquest is pretty great, you can just keep doing these conquests even though you will diminished effects after 20 kills per conquest, but with 50 exp per 10 turns, you can upgrade your gold per turn quite quickly, personally I'm getting a bonus of 3900 gold per turn now, the next one being 9800 gold per turn for 9600 exp (the other one was 4800).

I've calculated that with hits of about 2 million per time, you could get the same amount of money from those turns in 3 days while doing conquests and I didn't calculate for the full 24 hours since you guys probably get hit at night (I've only been hit once by some guy taking 200k... he couldn't see my money but still attacked).
So basicly, get the upgrades and just in a few days you will have your money back and after that you will make lots of money from it.

Btw to prevent getting hit, just get some sentry, if people can't see how much you got and especially with smaller armies, they won't bother to hit you or spy on you.

Btw it's better to use attack, the main difference between raiding and attacking is that with raiding you do a lot of damage and all to them, this could piss people off and raid you in turn. Though at this rank it won't be a issue yet. :)

its a daily increase, you can purchase a larger per day increase with gold on the training page

ive done that :) should be getting like 80 per day atm

so your turns, what does that exactly mean? is that just limiting how much you can do in a day?

This is fun im getting the hang of it. But the problem is that people have more Soldiers then i have. Even if i try to attack so does my attack depends on the death or the more soldiers i have? How do i heal my health? Like they say i got dmged but i dont see where i can heal my soldiers

My experience is that money wise it doesn't matter, in both cases you get about the same amount of money for the same amount of turns. Raiding is just much more aggressive.

That would be part of it yes, the other way is going to the recruit page, in that case you will be clicking other peoples links and people will be clicking your link because of the morale you get. Basicly each click you do (well entering the right letter) gets you 1 soldier.
When I get home I can send you a link to a recruiter or you could search for something like YAR KOC. That would add a link to your recruiter page which makes it much easier and faster to do them.

Nice. Just keep upgrading that, you will get money from that back quite fast, same for the money per turn from experience, in just a few days you will make a nice profit from it, it really is a good investment.
Turns do indeed limit how much you can do in a day, it's not ment to be played all day longer, rather it's a game that is played in between things.

The amount of soldiers people have doesn't mean that much, more soldiers just means a higher income. You could train a 1000 attack soldiers, but a single 1 million weapon would do more damage.

So your attack depends on the weapons you got on your armory page, though make sure that for every weapon you got you should have a soldier (for attack obviously a attack soldier and defense for defense).
Your soldiers don't get damaged, it is possible that they die, but nothing that can be done about that, the damage you get is to your weapons, you can repair them in the armory page.
When you attack people, make sure to recon them before, get some spies and preferably a decent spy weapon so you can spy on people, just keep spying on them untill you can see their defensive action, if that number is lower then yours then go for it.

Edit: How else can you get money other then attacking? Im already getting the income but im saying is there a quicker way? Because im trying to get atleast 40 Dragon claws and other stuff to.

You get a turn every minute, no other way to get more.

In the following ways you can get more money

1. Attacks: With attacking you can steal about 75% of a persons money, though I've experienced that this percentage decreases the bigger your army gets. (in comparison with the defender that is)
2. Raiding: A more aggressive attack that uses less turns but also gets your less money.
3. Soldiers: The more soldiers you got, the higher your income will be, I think it's about 1-1,5 gold per soldier you get more per turn.
4. Conquest: While technically you get money from this, this is actually extremely low. However you get a lot of experience from doing that, while normally you get 50 exp from a full attack (150 turns) here you get for the first 20 attacks you do (10 turns per attack) 50 exp per attack and after that it goes down. Which is good for...
5. Economic Development: On the training page you can upgrade your gold per turn with experience. You can just keep on attacking to eventually get these upgrades, or you can do conquests, which, assuming you steal upto 2 million per hit, gets you your money back in about 3 days that you lost doing conquests instead of attacks.

As for 40 dragonclaws, I would advice against getting anything aside from the 1 million weapons, exceptions would be when you go to bed and want to spend everything you got.
The reason for this is how sabotage works, before you could just sabotage as much as you want basicly, nowadays if someone wants to sabotage they can only do 0.2%, which means that with the maximum turns (5) you can sabotage 1% of a persons armory, which is based on strength. Now say you got 40 1000 str weapons, totalling 40.000 str, so 1% is 400, now since there are no weapons with 400 str, thus they can't sabotage. Now says you got a 100 256 str weapons, that's 25.600 str, but you can sabotage 1% there, so while you have less str, you can be sabotaged, hence it's always best to get the 1000 str weapons.

It's fine to have them for now, but I would start buying the 1k strength weapons just to be sure, after all some people can be bastards just because you attacked them... hell I even did it to a guy who stole 180k from me, he lost 400k in items though. :P

Yea the same guy kept hitting me for like 6 times i really wanna get the money back so i can totally rape him. Depends on army size and such. Basicly I got a big army with mainly defense, I can hardly steal any gold so currently I just use my turns to get experience.
Here is the thing though, the more you do conquests the less you get, after 20 attacks you keep getting less and less, atm I'm at 113 attacks on the first 4, that gets me like 12 experience per hit, which is pretty bad, but in my case it's still the best option right now as the only hits I can do hardly gets me money.

In your case you got a smaller army so you can attack bigger armies to get a lot of money, however like I said, the experience for the first 20 hits on each, is definitely worth it.

My suggestion would be to do conquests for the first couple of upgrades, so basicly don't go further then 20 hits on each yet. Ofcourse do remember that experience that is just sitting there doesn't help you, so if you just done a upgrade and you know you can't get the next upgrade without doing more then 20 hits on each, then just leave it be.
My guess would be right now is to aim for the 3900 gold per turn upgrade, personally I didn't have a very hard time to get that one, I'm still working on the one after that, and I started a few days before, plus I'm using massive amount of turns for very little experience, something you don't have to do (because you can steal good amounts).

I hope this clears it up a bit, it's basicly all strategy but it also depends on your playstyle.

Dude there are lots and lots of enemies. Most of the guys at that rank have pretty much no sentry, just get a spy weapon and start using recon, it's free, so go for it.

Ok this should get you quite a lot of gold.

Now again, invest in spying, this will make it so easy to find good targets, check for targets above 1.5 million gold, recon on them, do that until you see their defense and see if you can beat it.

Just do full attacks instead. So just click attack instead of raid.

As for buying stuff, buy the 1 million items, in the long run it's a much better investment, mostly because they are harder to sabotage.

And no need to get 5 million, you can buy 1 with 1 million.

With your income (I'm guessing 3-4k at most) defense isn't that important yet, it's better to invest in attack and spy to attack bigger targets. You might even want to consider training all your unused soldiers to spy to get your army size down, this will make it very uninteresting for bigger armies to attack you (they won't get that much money from you), ofcourse spies get you less money so your income would go down a bit, but most of the income with smaller armies is from the income upgrades, even with my army half my income is still from the upgrade, and that is with 8 soldiers.

If you are still worried about loosing money, then upgrade your sentry, however I personally wouldn't if I were you, if you focus on lots of attack power and quite a bit of spy (about 20-25% should be spy), then you can just steal everything you need. The amount you loose at night won't be such a big deal. Just remember, everyone around your army size focusses on attack, so they will break through the defenses you got anyway, so by getting that defense, you are only reducing your progress.

Ah i see idc they only take like 190k the most from me. Also can you tell me what Covert Does? i lvled it to 4 and it basically made me do nothing.

Covert increases your spy and sentry by 60% each level. So if you have virtually not spy/sentry then even though it still goes up by 60%, you won't gain much

As with all upgrades, it's about doing them at the right time. Basicly the upgrade should give you just as much as a increase as using that money to buy weapons.
Say you got 1 spy weapon that costs 1 million and you can do a upgrade for 1 million that gives you 60% more, aka 600 strength more, then it's better to buy a 1 million weapon, which will double that amount. Now if you got 2000 weapon str then that same upgrade would give you 1200 str more, that would be more then the 1 million weapon, and thus it would be the best choice.

It's no big deal if you are slightly early, but in general for your covert upgrades to be interesting they should cost about half of the armory you got, and for attack it's about 1/4th, so if your weaponry costs about 10 million, then you should stick with the 2.5 million attack upgrade and not move to the 5 million once you have about 20 million worth in attack weapons.

I see now i get what you mean also can you estimate how long it takes to get to 50000 turns? a week?

Btw why don't you guys switch to Orcs? You don't loose that many soldiers because you have small armies and the sentry bonus isn't that important either, whereas Orcs will give you 40% more attack and 20% more def.

I did it and does it show you that 40$ attack increased on your status? because it doesnt show for me. And i need 5000 exp to get the 3,900 gold xD

It takes them for the server to change info, atleast it took a while for me.

ah now it changed also remember how i just had 13k strike XD well look at it now because 2 people gave me 7 mil in total!!

It's best not to upgrade everything at once, especially since you don't really need def and sentry, best to keep investing it in attack and partially in spy.

Well im saying its step by step but i guess ill go through by attack and spy then but isnt that good for me? like 3-4 days and i got to that much problem is turns ughh i hate it so much. Ima just stay off of it for atleast a week if not then 5 days.

Well you are a small Orcish army, you aren't a very interesting target for most people due to your size, now by increasing your defense you might ward off some attacks, but there will still be lots and lots of people still being able to attack you, so it's better to just focus on lots of attack and quite a bit of spy to keep being able to see peoples money and spying on them. Now you might loose some money because of your low defense, but you gain lots more by attacking others.

Personally I invest in defense and sentry because I have lots of money per turn, infact I don't even attack right now, I'm just saving up my turns to eventually make a huge attack, but until then I get 1,3 million gold per hour, so it's essential for me that people don't see my money or are able to attack me. This morning I woke up with over 10 million, it seems that either people couldnt see my gold, couldn't beat my defense or they had so much more attack that they prefer taking down bigger targets.

Ramu why do you gotta be so poweful =( it makes me work even harder to catch up to you xD but once again turns but hey atleast ima get more money after i get the 4800 exp. Also i already bought the 7 invisi shields before the post i did so woops.

quick tip guys, when you find someone with less defensive action than you go to tyheir profile and set them as 'enemy' then when you go to attack you can click sort by enemy at the bottom, so you can always find someone you know you can beat. i've got a set of about 15 people that i attack whenever i have turns. Very easy to always have money then.

Everybody is getting lots of Striking Action now. Im only at 1mil so far and people already have like 3 and 4mil jeez i just need the money.

Well Ramu started before you, you will see that your income goes up quite fast and if you take the time then you can find really good targets to hit.

Yea i was reconning alot and everybody had like 3-4mil and some dude actually had 200mil strike action... it was rediculous

Damn that guy must be stupid, if you can already recon him, imagine what a few people could do with sabotage...

Because btw, once you hit about 90 1000 str weapons (which should be the only ones you have), you really need to start building up your sentry, because once you get 100 of them, you can get sabotaged (1 weapon per 5 turns, they can use 10 turns, so they can sab max 2 weapons).

Anyway the way ranks works is that it takes basicly an average, you are quite balanced in stats and thus you are much higher then when you were to focus just on attack/spy, so the people around you will have much higher stats because they don't balance.

Right now I'm around the 3500 rank, but I could be around 2700 by tomorrow if I wanted, but at that point I would be among much stronger people.

Man yea that guy had lots and lots of 1000 wep and sentry will be useful to me but for right now i have 800 soldiers so people wont mind ima start focusing on the spy

Right and you want to be in the top 20 how exactly? Everyone in the top 20 has lots and lots of officers, and thus get huge bonusses, because those people have atleast a few officers who click like madness and get half a soldier every soldier their officer gets.
