I hear yah :( Although there are other games (MMO) out there (currently I am playing WoW in my spare time) Mir2 had a certain charm to it. So simple yet so addictive, and a great community of people that banded together to have some kickass fun :)
It's too bad no one has the time or the want to host one. The last few didn't turn out well, so I guess most think it's time to move on. Sadly, there isn't much to move onto, at least RaGEZONE wise. There IS Mir3, and although Johny1 tries his best to keep it going, it's down more than it's up and tbh it's just NOT Mir2. It has more features, some would say it looks better, etc.. But it's not the same at all (Having played both extensively, I can say this for sure).
Anyway, I would love to see another Mir2 come out. Even just the basic 1.4.. I could care less about the new stuff tbh.. It was never about the new stuff.. Just about having some laughs and killing WT ;) Too bad it's not happening :cry:

I've been a Helbreath addict for about five years, I reccomend it; but I can't say you'd like it. It's not to big, so it shouldn't be to out of the way for you. Netoverlords.com is the server I usually play on, try that if you're interested; about 170+ players on at all times.

i recently been playing euro mir3 but its just not the same, dont get me wrong its good but man its not the same at all lol
It isn't the same. The characters/mobs/weapons even some of the locations look the same or similar, but the games ARE different. Plus, with Mir2, it's all about the simplicity of it, coupled with great conversation, scandals, pvp, and the battles in towns and wars!Quote:

id play if anyone where to host a realiable one. see if we could find a reliable one then just gatecrash it that would be ideal
A big reason why mir2 servers don't succeed anymore is because of cheaters. I say invite only, of course not many would like this idea but at least we would have a clean server without someone dosing it every day... And yeah, that may take out some of the "fun", but tbh at this point I'd rather have one to play then put one up only to have people cheat and/or dos it to death.
Of course, they'd probably get the ip from someone so it wouldn't work ;)
I would agree with Beckeh. If I were to host a server it would be invite only. That way it will be nice a clean.

aww but its not the same when you dont have romanians to grief...theres a romanian server going atm im tempet to join just to fight, but with it being a romanian server i would be slightly out numberd

I get what you are saying but the amount of times they took down the game for stupid reasons was just insane. I would go home and be ready to go and "nope, server is being dos'd".. I swear it happened so often I'm surprised it lasted so long (rz 5 btw).Quote:
