just a suggestion, but why-not get a rage-zone irc channel?!?
ppl can get to know eachother better, and new ppl can introduce themselves there, and maybe find sum friends ^^

i know of sum mu servers that have had irc channels, and they really helped the community to grow. (yes, thats right, i said MU, u got a problem with that?!?! MU, MU, MU, MU, MU!!! MU-AHAHAHAHA !!!) :P hehe

wat u guys think?

i used to sit in the quakenet #ragezone but no1 ever talked it died ages ago

we had our own server at 1 point but it just wanst used

That's a pretty good idea, but like EX said if it died then whats the chance it won't die again. I guess it's worth a try. It's nice to have an irc though.

Before the Crash we had we used to have a flash based Chat room. It was cool!!

but again that was used by like 6 people if that

A few ppl used it for 2 days then it went quiet. Ppl I remember using it for those 2 days: Me, RsX, moomoolad, DonTonBerry, Becky, Sipher, Crashoveride, MarioParty (<--I think), MentaL popped in a few times & AjSingh. NoPeace too!

I lived in hope of some ppl turning up. But they never did. :(

Well they did but they only interested in mu. & their written english was horrendous! :ohmy:

Yeah, I remember seeing people come in, sit in the mu section, and then log out. A couple even asked about mu.. I dunno about mu! :P

That's probably because most of the people viewing these forums are ones that only post in the mu online section and don't care about the community. They only care about playing MU and their server. =\

there was an irc room back then dedicated for mu
and the flash chat, only few people used it.

I still say it would be a good idea, especially since we have a few more posters thanks to the longest thread.. nothing wrong with chatting together (and that chat system was very nice imo).

edit: I love the part in ionic's picture where the guy comes in and logs right out after he tells him not to talk about mu :D

It's funny tho. Maybe it's cos of the coloured text and freindly sounds, but when ppl typed on the Flash thing it seemed more friendy!

Tho, yes the Long Thread has dragged a few ppl here. Without it I don't think I'd care for as many users. Most notably: Cell2002 (oh wait! Sorry! That should say FibreOptics shouldn't it? 8-p ), shadowmist, Striker86, Allocura and such. I mean, even Trigun fixed up when he made his [Linkin_Park] account! I came to recognise these ppl through the long thread in what? a week or 2? Without it I doubt I'd still recognise their names or humour.

i also wanted to know most users here except that,its harder for me when its not in chatting ><
i was able to make 300+ posts in the entertainment + community + gfx section combined. and the rest were mostly in the longest thread and some in the ragnarok secction.

it's much easier to know ppl on irc, cos u r actually chatting with
them in real-time, and not just posting messages on a thread,
and waiting for them to reply :D

the chat would be good, the forum is more active now and although we lost some legends i think we could still have a pretty good irc channel - if L was requested on the qnet server there may be a chance its still there. forgive me if i misspell anything - im drunk and from what i can see im doing pretty well so far. also becky i havnt spoken to you in ages, where you been? :( *crys* it would be cool to chat to you again, much love :wub2:
