Learning basic Japanese (Nihongo, 日本語)
Hi people, today I will be giving a lesson on Nihongo (Japanese Language). This is lesson one so I think I should start with greetings :).
Now in English language, you can say Hello to people, where in Japanese language, there isn't a word that means Hello (exept for on the phone coming up). So instead of one word, I would tell you Good Morning, Good Afternoon and Good Evening :).
Good Morning-
Ohayoo gozaimusu (the "u" is silent) おはようございます
Good Afternoon-
Konichiwa (sounds familiar?) こんにちは
Good evening-
Konbanwa こんばんは
HELLO (only used on the phone)-
Moshi moshi こんにちは
How do you do-
Hajimemashite どのようにすればよい
That's lesson one everyone thanks :thumbup:
P.S Please don't try make a Japanese conversation with me, not fully learnt yet :P
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hey everyone and welcome to lesson two of nihongo (Japanese Language) :). Today we will be learning abour farewells :D. But first let's recap on greetings:
Good Morning-
Ohayoo gozaimusu (the "u" is silent) おはようございます
Good Afternoon-
Konichiwa (sounds familiar?) こんにちは
Good evening-
Konbanwa こんばんは
HELLO (only used on the phone)-
Moshi moshi こんにちは
How do you do-
Hajimemashite どのようにすればよい
Okay now let's do farewells :D.
Goodbye-
Sayoonara さようなら
See you-
Ja mata を参照してください
See you tommorow-
Mata ashita (pronounced mata-ushta) 明日を参照してください
Good night-
Oyasuminasai おやすみなさい
And that is the end of lesson two! :w00t:
Have fun!
Re: Learning Nihongo Lesson 1 :)
Err ok lol... though if anyone actually wanted to learn Japanese, pretty sure they would just Google it and learn more than 5 words.
Re: Learning Nihongo Lesson 1 :)
Re: Learning Nihongo Lesson 1 :)
Man... I'm sure every animetard in the history of japanophilia has at one time or another tried to learn japanese. Until the next episode of whatever anime they're watching comes out.
What's the cool one now? Naruto? One Piece?
Re: Learning Nihongo Lesson 1 :)
I Use Rosetta stone that's pretty good for learning, i picked up tons within hours, but i haven't used it lately so i don't remember as much. But recommend it for any language.
Re: Learning Nihongo Lesson 1 :)
Merged thread/post, as there really was no need for 2 threads, also changed the title.
And not bad for some basics :P
