cola is the program aeon uses to creat animations

our issue atm in cracking it is that 7z.dll is closed source and slow as hell and apears to have a sleap func that is a pain to the speed of it

It converts project files of an unknown 3d editor to flyff's model file formats (.chr - Bones, .ani - Animations, .o3d - Models)

how many account you have to make to flame me lol, and it does edit sfx your not the only one whos been on dev machines execpt you got given the password oh and selling the source you think thats wise when aeonsoft or should i say gala inc as they own aeonsoft are currently only looking for proof to fine your ass =) ive seen logs they are fully aware of the flyff private server scene and the official files and source leaks except the files were their fault so they cant prosecute you for obtaining them illegally as they were public the source however they have the law involved, dont beleive me go get your contact who give you everything to go check over some stuff on the dev machines if the logs are still there

i know its his 3rd account im guessing "iliekcola" was him too what he doesnt realise is and people back from when i released the v14 files could actually back me up if they remember me telling them i said half the features of v15 1 month after v14 was released, how could i have done that if i didnt have acces to dev machines, i told people the level cap was increased and the housing sytem was being built upon (guild house but didnt know that exacly at the time) the dev machine i had acces to has changed ip because it moved since the changeover of aeonsoft being bought by gala, and they are well ware of whats going on in the pserver scene as them being aeonsoft kept legal logs in PDF files aswell as copy of the liscenses to all the hosters gala included signed by the former ceo of aeonsoft

Well, if someone extracted, just the encryption and figured out the implementation of AES-256 inside 7z, you could easily brute force the password out of the key by using the same method as 7z, except it doesn't test the archive at all, resulting in extremely fast results.

Theres about 1 or 2 posts that describe cola that don't involve Coke.

if he has it he has it, if he doesnt he doesnt, it doesnt really matter, as hes not going to release it and i wouldnt want him to, i would however like him to at least not flame me and realise im here to try and move development forward and if he could respect that instead of hating on me for whatever reason, and maybe release file formats so people could at least use them to make programs to further development. for example release the .ani ,chr and .sfx formats im sure someone will be able to make use of them and would help the community, instead he flames at me, im not angry at him just dissappointed he would rather flame at me than work with me, if not work with me at least work with other in the community intead of his sole prupose of being here to flame me, ive only ever been here to forward development if thats such a crime, well i dunno what to say, th eonly thing in the neurospace archive i was interested in was cola for the 3d development as people who know me know im a 3d dev not a coder

I don't understand why he hates either. Also Cola is the only thing I want out of this archive as well, I'm sure all of the 3D developers are anxiously waiting to see if the archive is ever cracked or not.

So yeah, just forget about him, thing is i wish i had Cola myself because it looks extremely interesting. Can you imagine how much this one program can do for the section? We'd be releasing npc's by the dozen, we'd also be able to make animations.

If we all want Cola, we should all still be trying to brute force that password, maybe someone will succeed soon.

Surely but I did not make the thread as some sort thread to wait for us to crack the archive for the community. I made it so that everyone in this community can contribute help in trying to crack it, and that includes the current state where there's no fast enough cracker (in finding a fast way to test a password).

I saw in another post of you that said
that you already had cola, but that it was chinese and only needed to be translated.

If you do got it you should release it even when its not good functional.
It would bring back the section.

He has the v5 one, we don't know whats in this archive. It's rumored to be v15 or something. Also, he obtained it illegally from his friend, not from the archive.

All he was doing was posing and being an attention whore since we all know in one of his posts he said "I cracked the password". So yeah, he dug his own grave.

Nope, nobody knows if it's actually usable or not. It could require more than the files found in the folder, who knows until we get it ourselves. The fact that he refused to show a public screenshot of the stuff is clues enough he was hiding something.

the exe is usuale,for the source you need the directx sdk and the MFC library to be able to compile it

It's a converter. Not much else to do with it.

not only a converter it also sets when the monster damage is initiated within the animation ie at the climax of the attack you set the damage to happen there, also where the sound effect should play other than that its basically an extension of 3ds max in my opinon as it was build as a middleware converter between 3ds max and the flyff game engine

cola is a 1 way converter from ase to o3d, if the mesh has bones it also generates a .chr it also appears to read the headers of the ase and goes on filename so if you have static mvr_test (has bones in) it makes mvr_test.o3d and mvr_test.chr then you animate it in max save the ase as mvr_test_walk then open it with cola it will make mvr_test_walk.ani then if you open the mvr_test.o3d in cola the walk animation will load over the left for you to click to play

I know? That's why I said it'd be useful for something to convert .o3d/.ani's back for editing.

it's not hard to convert to obj, covert to .max, imitate the bones by looking at the .chr file for bone names to create new animations with

it takes some work but it's worth it

anything worth doing is worth fighting for

My question is how to save in the program. I think it has great potential but I don't see how save is working....

I know if I mess with it long enough that it'd work. It'd be nice to fix SpineDragon's attack ani...

Caali files were easy to set up, there were hundreds of Caali servers. Official files came along, the number of servers dropped severely. If the source is leaked the number of private servers with the source will drop even more for two reasons:

1. the source will give out every single exploit known to man and only the best servers with the best anti hacks will stay.
2. There aren't many people who will be able to compile and modify the source easily.

Basically the source being leaked would be the end of almost every private server and only the best of the best will be up.

You can't convert .ani files back. Cola is sadly one way (as far as I know)

Thats how i got my .ASE, made them myself with 3DsMax.

It's not like you really have to make them. There are 2 .ase files in the model folder of your server files.

One of them is a model example, and the other is an animation example. I learned what I know about Cola just from looking at those two, now go my children, go and develop!
