I was wondering if anyone knows how you can add (or get rid of) Portals, and their graphics:
Ex: How could I add the missing graphics to the below existing portal (the little blue rings), or how could I remove the physical portal ???
--screen shot is from 'official' PWi FF/FFC ~~ Ultimate Destination (as you should know, our version doesn't initially have these blue rings)
Twilight temple or holy hall ,what ever u wanna call it, does on our version. i thinik any way im not sure its 5 AM and im half asleep but cant go to sleep. ill check and see. it may be a gfx but the problem there is finding it. and or it can be apart of a quest too since portals are actualy just quests that active when u reach a certain area and take u into a cave. u know that already so maybe it has a gfx with the limited area of the quest. just throuing ideas out there. it would be cool if we could do that but right now im not sure what i just said :\ hope i made some sense

This list looks hardly like the one i gave to luhe except the ecm (no assumption or anything just a fact)
Anyways your post is corrupted all entries can only be seen via quote function
Thats a problem with vbulletin itself, it cuts off posts when a certain set of characters is put anywhere in itQuote:

[trans] = tells it the following is transport info
131 1 60 = WORLD ID TAG TO / WORLD ID TAG FROM / LV REQ (IDK why HH/TT is 1 60; when every other [trans] is 1 0)
-2708.798096, 404.276001, 1185.218994 = this line tells it the cords to teleport from the map (in which this region file is for)
5.000000, 5.000000, 5.000000 = this I am guessing is the range for which the transport area works (how far outside of the above number)
-477.000000, 131.000000, 475.000000 = this line tells it where to take you inside the new location
I cannot yet figure out how to add/remove the blue ring (I am trying to learn based off of the above example since the ring already exists for HH/TT) :\
well the teleport is controlled by region yes but u were asking about the glow wernt you?

yes, my primary concern is how to add/remove the blue rings that appear 'in game' so you know it's a 'portal'.

I figured it out, to an extent. I found the entry (under 'dynamics' in NPCGEN) for the blue spinning circle for HH/TT. I added a new line with the new coordinates of where I wanted this same type of graphic to be near FF. Now I would like to figure out/know what all the numbers are for in the entry line. ie... what is the 41, 125, 82, (I know the 0), and 24 do?Quote:
