Level 129#NAME? ???

I've got a problem with my character selection.

This is what I get instead of Level 129-H:

Does that happen with all jobs at 129 hero?

I've seen that before, though I'm not exactly sure why it does that (apparently it's pretty universal across the v15 files). Try digging around in your .res files, it might be something where the job names are defined.

Eflyff has this problem too, they haven't found a fix, when they do I'll post their manual patch and u can see what they did to fix it.

Maybe. Still kinda funny efail can't even fix their shit. Doesn't look like it would be that hard to correct. It's almost as bad as all the translation typos that never got fixed.

hmm, ive seen that problem before, you can fix it in some file that contains in the Char.res (i think) i will look it up a lil fast-ish Dx

Ah, if you open TextClient.txt.txt (.inc) You can find 5 different #NAME?..
write test1, test2, test3 etc on everyone, and change it to whatever fits you :p

This problem is very simple :D

Try Opening Textclient.txt.txt, Then Find that String, there are two of them :D, #NAME? for Hero and #NAME? for Master, try it, to change it, just simply -M for master, -H for hero

Btw, there are also some #NAME? in the Jewel Setting from Peach.
Changed them too :D

If someone else has an issue with this, change this:

IDS_TEXTCLIENT_INC_002924 #NAME?
IDS_TEXTCLIENT_INC_002925 #NAME?

to

IDS_TEXTCLIENT_INC_002924 -M
IDS_TEXTCLIENT_INC_002925 -H

For the Remove Pierced Jewel, change this:

IDS_TEXTCLIENT_INC_001785 #NAME?
IDS_TEXTCLIENT_INC_001786 #NAME?
IDS_TEXTCLIENT_INC_001787 #NAME?

To

IDS_TEXTCLIENT_INC_001785 HP
IDS_TEXTCLIENT_INC_001786 Attack
IDS_TEXTCLIENT_INC_001787 Defense

EFlyff had this issue with pets aswell. But if the solution is in the textClient.txt.txt.inc, then imo eFlyFF is lazier than ever before.
