V16 Ready Files

why is this thread still open something clearly got messed up giving me owner ship of this post. its pretty useless now. just saying

what is legit?

Teh fuk is going on with the flyff community, I tought demonflyff was upgrading to v16 first, teh hell..

They're v16 READY files, not v16 files.

It means they're v15 files with all of the v16 content possible without the actual new binaries.

To get v16 files working on a v15 server you just need to change the mob type of the Behemoth dungeon mobs, ASM hack your server to add extra maps, copy and paste all the info into the .res files, change the item types and that's pretty much it. This release however doesn't have the new Baruna upgrading system, new skills, new jobs, new skill tree or new map system.

ie. This is just the rough models. But your server will not be able to use most of the weapons correctly, ex. the Crossbow needs to be changed to a ranger, which then is going to wield it as a bow, and it's not supposed to do that. As stated above you need the v16 binaries, unless you got the source or is pro at asm.

what hurahi said, thats what I love about v16, a new company hosts the development that is a fuckton more security savi, and it will probably not get leaked or be useless if it is, so the only people who will advance are those who are skilled enough to make it themselves
