[Request] Help with ExpDefs table
Hey guys. I was wondering if I could get a solution to an issue I'm having with my ExpDefs table.
I've been wanting to increase the amount of Exp required to level mainly for the fact the Ep5 version of the table has the values way too low.
However, when I go to change them, I can't put above a certain amount, when it's set to Int32 settings. So, I changed it to Int64 and BigInt, which allowed me to put in larger values.
However, these larger values prevent my server from fully connecting, namely my Game.
The log says something about failure to connect to the ExpDefs table.
So, I was wondering if anyone had a solution that would allow me to be able to place in higher Exp values outside of the Int32 range without completely crashing it. (I hope I'm making sense).
Re: [Request] Help with ExpDefs table
i think see PS_GameDefs -> usp_Read_ExpDefs_R (stored procedure)
use sql profiler for debug

Thank you for the response, Twilight!
I took a peek at that procedure, and this is what it says:

SET ANSI_NULLS ON
GO
SET QUOTED_IDENTIFIER OFF
GO
ALTER Proc [dbo].[usp_Read_ExpDefs_R]

AS
SELECT [Level], Grow, [Exp] FROM ExpDefs
ORDER BY Grow ASC, Level ASC
Would I change the "SET QUOTED_IDENTIFIER" to "ON", then?

If you learn to use the tool SQL Server SQL Profiler, you will see all queries to the database in real time.
In the setting of this tool should include all the events and values.
You'll see what kind of data requests the game server and what gets a response from the base.
Can I suggest you watch video course
