Can someone please help me edit .dat file and convert back to .pk

OKKKKK!
this new advanced pk editor is gettin to me how the hell are u ment to change the .dat files with the new one can someone make a guild coz u smart asses have one and its useless there is no point in making a fuarum with no help ....
the new advanced pk editer is giving me the shits i change the config conver it with the converter from advanced pk editor and NULL NULL!
im just trying to change xlate.e can it be that hard just to make one guied step by step coz i saw ur smart ass guid in tutorial thingo and theres nothing on it ??? wtf im new to this i neeed use to explain to me how to coz this softwere is obv new ..
what did i do wrong ?

1.opened config pk with advanced editor changed my xlate.e file to what i needed it to be
2. saved it packed it as config.pk
3.converted it with kocp converter and still NULL NULLL HELPPPPP !

and dont say im noob coz i dont no how to and 80% people no how to maybe im new to this ??
