Korean GunZ 2004 Clients

Hi, as we all know, Lambda released the Feb 9 2004 Client (115). I found 2 more 2004 clients and thought that it might me useful to some people.

The 2 clients are:

• NetmarbleGunz_176 - May 21 2004.
• NetmarbleGunz_193 - July 19 2004.

Q: How do I unpack the MRS files of these clients?

A: Go to the KGunZ 2004 folder -> Tools -> Folder Options -> View -> Un-check "Hide extensions for known file types" -> Apply -> Ok -> Rename the MRS file to zip (eg. if you want to decompile system.mrs, name it system.zip) -> Open it with Win RAR -> Tools -> Repair Archive -> Treat the corrupt archive as ZIP -> Ok.

Now, it will build a file called "rebuilt.system". Extract it.

All of this stuff has been released already.

Some things I discovered:

KGunz 04 uses DirectX 8.0.

Protocol updates:

• KGunz 04 seems to be now using the standard command IDs in the protocol.

So can I use the old Gunz.exe that Gunner54 made? Im to lazy to olly =/

Yeah, of course you can. The clients use the same MRS files / XML's like the Feb client. They're just updated.

EDIT : Yeah you're right, Gunner's runnable doesn't work with these 2 clients.

hey thanx but that video is not of this version of Gunz i debugged and played it has new sword animation but no sword charge. If u keep pressing left mouse button it blocks instead of charge.

Yeah, I downloaded the client from your link just before releasing. Your links to a Korean site and the link to client 176 was broken.
Do you have more clients?

i mean they been workin when i sent em in december lol.
uh i only have these u have here + v145
other 2 i deleted cuz that runnable thing didnt work
ima try to upload v145 around friday if u want it

v169 n v18something.both didnt work so they went baibai ^^.well one didnt launch and other one was givin some korean bs error
ok so ima upload 145 around weekend.zitem will be kinda fuked but rest original

i just installed those clients and when i was working on them they shut down my pc automaticaly! >.> Why? :(

@adminjocker u got sm virus.. i think..

how do i remove that SM Virus? My pc is all cleaned and when i installed my pc just shuted down.
