Had any of you ever had a time in your life where you just felt there was nothing in this world that satisfied you? Typically nothing in this world was worth living for. I want some answers, what do you think is worth living for?

Having fun. Doesn't matter how, but yeah, having fun.
And yes, I think pretty much everyone feels like that sometimes at one point or another, I did well, when I was 12 :P didn't feel I deserved anything etc and didn't know why I was even alive :P but it passes man.
Live to enjoy life.

Go play on the nearest motorway.
Go play on the nearest motorway.
if you have the attitude there is nothing to live for that's a huge shame because all you will see is the futility of it all
we all die in the end so have a rockin' time while you're here!
What do I think is worth living for? Well I love sport and I also love boobs to name just 2 excellent things.
I think everyone goes through this phase at some point. But yeah, you might feel like theres nothing worth living for now, but who's to say there won't be in the future?
I had a sizeable period in my life where I felt that way. What you need is a change in your life, if you can't do it yourself then find help, as in professional help.
Right... while I can't say if the topic starter really knows how it feels what he's talking about (hence people wrote the emo comments), it's clear from your post that you don't, so some advice, when someone asks that, don't tell them about your period when you were 12 when things were weird, because that only insults the people who actually went through that or are still in it.
First of all, that's 3 things. ;)
Second yeah we will all die at some point, while obviously it's easier said then done to just do what you really want to do, but that's basicly what it is about, go for what you want, sitting around thinking how things are not how you want them to be, won't change a thing, that is unless you have a rich grandpa who just passed and left you all his money. ;)
Honestly my life can't get any better.
Learn to recognize an appreciate the good things in life.
If you look at is as "what is there to live for?" you're being selfish. Live life not to make yourself happy, but to make others happy, and that'll essentially make you happy.
It is clear when the people giving the advice haven't actually been in that situation before.
When you start feeling like you have nothing to live for, that's when you should be getting selfish. Don't bother about anything or anyone else, just go and do what makes you happy.
Don't try to find something to live for; people can live their entire lives without ever finding it, but it doesn't mean they were unhappy or depressed. Find something which makes everything else OK; find something which makes everything else in your life worthwhile. Find something that gives you that one moment each and every day when you sit back and think "yea, this is why I'm putting up with all that other bullshit".
I had a long run of some pretty bad luck a few years back, and felt alot like the way you must be feeling now. All i can recommend is for you set a goal. Just one. Set a single goal and strive towards it. For me, it was to get my dream car. I set that as a goal and had it within a year. Doesn't matter what kind of day I've had, at the end of it all i sink my right foot into the floor-mat and watch the rest of the world melt away as the turbos spool to 15PSI and i get thrown back into my seat.
Living is win...
Ehm... that's a load of crap. How about if you yourself are happy, you can actually be in the position to help others.
I'm a social/support worker, the first thing we learn is to feel good ourselves, to be balanced, to be able to deal with the things in life ourselves, because aslong as you can't manage your own life, you are in no real position to help someone else.
yes you are being selfish, you have a whole human life to your self and you can't see any good!? wake the fuck up bro, you have the internet at your fingertips so clearly you are already better off than countless millions starving with no food, electricity or internet you selfish fucker.
I've been there and being depressed is one of the most selfish states there is "why me" "why is my life so bad" "i hate my life" "me me me me me me". Society doesn't help, but that's a whole other rant!
Do you want your life to improve? you might not see a way right now but let us assume we might not know everything in the universe for a moment. If by some "miracle" your life could improve, would you let it?
