did you get this working. what bit are you using 64bit or 32bit. also is it something like "the services started and then stopped because nothing is using them" if thats the case and your using a 64bit OS you need to go to win64sys (or something like that) and use the odbcad programme there to add them. should rectify this problem.
Im having the "The services started and then stopped because nothing is using them" Problem im runing windows xp 32 bit
i had a 7 extarter and have the same problem
