For those unaware, yes the game is still being produced, and it's being done by Gearbox Software (of Borderlands fame).
Additionally, SOME people (such as myself) who have Borderlands on Steam have been given "First Access Codes", which give you exclusive access to the demo when it gets released.
If you have it, it will appear under your "CD Key" box for Borderlands.

Honestly, I'm not getting my hopes up. In my mind its going to be an ok game at best, nothing special or amazing.
I hope it's good, I'll get it anyway one way or another lol

Honestly don't understand why someone would want to pick up on continuing it's development... if it was released, with nothing "OMG GAME OF THE YEAR ETC ETC", bloody embarrassment for your company.

I saw the gameplay video from some kind of expo thing. Can't find the link right now, but I must say it looked awesome. Kind of waiting for the game.

Seriously I think gearbox will make the game really good. Borderlands was a great game so I have faith in them
