Forsaken World - PCK Extraction MOD
For all those who wanna look into the pck archives of the new Forsaken World International client...
sPCK compiled with FW Signature and FW XOR-Decoding Keys

The directory hierarchy is quite a bit different but it looks fundamentally the same... I kinda look forward to tinkering with it a bit more

So if i read correct, you will be able to rip out stuff from FW client and push it into PW ? Whould be cool if that works :):

Provided they didn't add some retarded new files to it like they did a few times in PW... yeah it shouldn't be that hard to port them in

unpacking works great dont have problem to get any files from any PCK in FW international and for China version it work great too... but when i try repack it back even with untouched files, and place it back to original folders when i run game it say that actual pck file is damaged or not available, for repack i tested also older packers like sPCK or pwpack(2007 and 2008 versions) tested it with every pck files what FW have and none of them working :/:

i can also provide you any files from FW global and/or china version.
reason why im interested in functional re-pack is that i want make english patch for china version so my friends and lot of other guys who wasn't selected into CBT international will be able to test game too, but on china sever :)

You could probably just take the english elements.data and stick them in the chinese client and have almost everything correct, the rest of it would just be configs/surfaces/interfaces.pck

i only changed the decryption keys, the 280 bytes signature at the end of the file will still be the PW signature when packing...
Update: fwPCK has now the FW Signature...

Thanks ronny, I've experimented with it a little and so far what I found was that I can't see the FW weapon models on characters, tried using sMODfix but it doesn't seem to work... do I have to change something else for it to work or are the files just not compatible? I also tried adding pets and they do show up, but there's no animation. They're just frozen. Could someone shed some light on how to get them to work properly? thanks.

can i have question? which pcks u translated?
i have done:
configs.pck, interfaces.pck, also in resource/help book.pck
but i have problem with script.pck inside script.pck folder config,interfaces,itemdesc,skills working (some of skill show me error desc 1775 for example at bard) but in core folder of script.pck.files when i add translated files client crash :mad:
other files like surfaces,textures,gfx...etc is only graphic i think ^^,
can u send me your script.pck when u finish it please? :)
btw other things like quests and npc names and maps u can just copy all from FW global data, except gshop.data

script u dont need anyways, the games structure is a little like the dance game most the ecm etc rely on script data.

dude you can keep dreaming, if you haven't noticed we are a sharing community here. SHARE (meaning for free) or don't even bother posting that kinda shit; IDC to see your pix when I sure as hell can do the same thing and then release it to the community, or someone else does one; and I do one etc...
So release it or don't even try to share images, because we are sharing.
If you haven't figured out by now your attempted SALES are FAIL! epically! First you tried to SELL the CHAPEL is34, well you see how that went; we all chopped it up as a community and now it's out there; FOR EVERYONE, FOR FREE!
So, hopefully you learn from the past, and actually become a sharing part of this community.

I'll gladly fix and share them if someone gives me some pointers on how to import them to PW. I copied the models and gfx of the mounts and weapons and stuff, then used sMODfix on them, looked at the .ecm files but I can't find any reason that it should NOT show up, made a new weapon on elements.data and pointed it to the .ecm in the model folder of the stuff I'm trying to import... and still nothing. Someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong so I can stop getting pissed off over this lol.

That's one thing I love about SMF, the built in karma system where if a users karma drops to -60 (users can only vote either positive or negative for any user once per hour by default but admins can change that) and it will autoban them

Explore .ecm file. Try to understand meaning of each line in that file.

And that he want to sale? hm useless.
But nvm now. I release the models.pck (fixed) and mine is fixed xD well maybe they are some bugs in but... Im using my hands to fix this with each ecm and gfx file. And then it can happen that i forget something ;)

Guys no more of this please.
Please no more posting about Du100 and his mounts or what tools he used.
This isn't the place to sell things and we have no proof what tools were used. We have these mounts already released for free so lets just leave it at that and move on.
If you continue there will be consequences. :O: (You better flee in terror, lol, unless you have something decent to post)

k will do Drakaer, I didn't even care to get/port these mounts; I just found it ridiculous that he tries to sell every little thing he does, or at least that's how it seems.

I have a project about translating Forsaken World into spanish (EspAion - EspAion: Forsaken World), and PCK tool its really usefull.
But I have a question...
Somebody knows hoy to edit GLOBAL_STRING.LUA from SCRIPTS.PCK after unpack?
