Hello , i got really stupid problems , My server work all fine , but after 24-30 hour no one cant login says conncect failed , but some players still in server online but nother cant login .. ferst it hink problems in server.exe i changed it trying nother server.exe and still same , maybe any can help please , it make me very big help.

i think some people had the problem where it was in the hotuk where the amount of players allowed in server exceeded, best to check there.

I suspect SQL.dll is not releasing players when they log out, since the problem remains when you change server.exe. But I didn't know that SQL.dll had anything to do with that..?
It certainly sounds like a "server population full" error.
i trying using ODBC but same , trying alot and still same problems
I removed the SQL.dll and tried ODBC only and still the same problem. Anoying problem
Hmm. That sounds like a very strange problem.
Is it possible the server cannot allocate memory / threads for more players?
Nope because even if you wait like 1 hour after it happen, still all get unable to connect. re-start the server.exe is a must thing to do to fix it.
I'm not sure that completely disproves the theory, but it does suggest it's less likely.
Reasoning: If the server isn't releasing resources it's allocating, it's virtual address space can become full, and never free up. Each thread and each socket opened takes up memory, and there are memory allocations are made for the players state data as well.
Keep an eye on the resource usage in TaskManager, or preferably SysInternals "Process Manager", because it includes all child threads and processes which will share the same Virtual Address Space. Total usage is when it reaches two to two and a half Gig.
Remember, 32-bit application, max address bus is 4 Gig, but core Kernel objects will have to be within it's memory space, so it can call it, bit's of BIOS & Drivers, bits of PCI device addressing ports that those bits of BIOS and Drivers need to access. (It's different for different hardware and OS, but it ends up being about 512meg to a Gig, from what I understand)
What I can't understand, is why two servers would be failing to release resources, with and without sql.dll, unless they are both from a very similar source.
If it was Windows for Workgroups I would say get a commercial TCP/IP stack coz you've run out of sockets. XD
Another strange idea for a strange problem... have you got a bad ODBC/NCLI/ADODB etc. driver? I've never seen that happen, but could imagine how it might cause this issue if you did.
For your question about the ODBC driver. The driver it's ok and before i tried ODBC, i used SQL.dll without ODBC at all.
About the task manager, the server never use more than like 1-3% of the CPU. and RAM using is max like 2-3 GB RAM.

Just as a side note... monster population can be as damaging to the memory load as player population.
Of course, the monsters only spawn in zones where players are active, so number of players increases the number of monsters and it snowballs from there.
Even so, if the monsters in areas where there are no players are not de-spawning, then that could hold memory usage open even after players leave, preventing others joining.
I've never had 20 or 30 players on a server at once, so I really don't know how that would happen... and I've never had server memory usage exceed 1 Gig. I only know that 2.5 Gig is pushing the limit of a 32-bit Windows Application, even if it's running on a 64-bit Windows OS.

There where a couple of "bugged" protocol changed servers (early jPT to KPT or ePT conversions) which counted each connection twice, showed 1 or 2 players connected before anyone logged in, and only subtracted 1 player on logout where they increased by 2 players each time 1 player logged in.
I've used them, and seen it, but just switched to another server. I've never made the same happen in any of my edits, and never attempted to fix this problem in servers I've seen which do it.

Depends on your Clan system. Sandurr copies (and adds to) records of all Clan entries to an active Clan members table when player logs on... If his ASP files are not working correctly, sql.dll or Clan.dll could prevent players who are in a Clan from logging on.
Shouldn't affect Clanless players though. I think most servers have a reasonable minority of those active, don't they?
If you have a good solution for DB Backup and restore, I'd say give it a whirl.
i dont hawe solution i trying find solution becuase i see not only me got this problems .. i trying alot but nothing help , server online like 20 hour then players got disconect and server not crash he still online just no any cant login back in game says conect failed ...
And if you re-start the server, players can log in again? Which still leads me to believe something which is allocated when players log in, isn't being un-allocated (freed) when they log out.
Actually, if you aren't using sql.dll and clan.dll (which I think you tried earlier) that will disable your clan system anyway... you could also comment out the *CLAN_SERVER line in your server hotuk... but that would definitively prove that it's nothing to do with Clans.
yes when i restart server all can login but this happend like every 20 hours all disconect from games and cant login back says conect failed :S

ok i tested it if i remove this line *CLAN_SERVER , players cant make clan , so it hink its not solution :S
