The lamps were bugged in the original files we got but they are fixed in what will be the next release.
This fix is fairly simple but you will want to read this first:

The same thing applies to the purple lamps. The reason they are broken is that the drop rates and accumulated rates for the items that come out of purple lamps don't add up to 100% so it fails and just gives you another lamp. Open them enough times and you will eventually get something.
I would post the fixed file but i have some other stuff in there i don't want to release just yet.
