Oldschool HTML CMS (ProjectCMS)
Overview
Another basic release, to be honest, not sure if this is properly released in the correct section, but anyways moderators can deal with the situation. This HTML consists of 8 HTML pages, including a few (3) images added. It can be easily edited, but I'd love for my footer to remain the same, considering I created this. Anyways, some screening posted below on what it looks like, I suggest for the news, just add the cutenews script, which is very easy and doesn't require MySQL.

Anyways, the "Thanks button" would be nice, and I hope you guys use this. It's for oldschool hotels, and really it's only HTML & CSS so don't expect much. It's not habboish, but that's your job, to design and create whatever you want out of it.

Thanks, I'm positive this thread topic will be useful to some people who want to start setup a Habbo private server website.
Love the retro-feeling to this HTML - CMS
I will bookmark this thread, for further updates.
Re: Oldschool HTML CMS (ProjectCMS)
CMS = Content management system
Code:
A CMS, or Content Management System, is an application designed to store, format, reproduce and manage Web/intranet data. The CMS usually uses a database to store the content and a server-side scripting language to recall and present the data.
Sorry bro, but its just html... a layout as there is no database. This isn't here to flame you, just to make sure.
Why not change all pages to .php extension and made a config file with
Code:
mysql_connect('localhost','root','cake');
mysql_select_db('layouthehe');
And so on.... like holds data! :D
I hope you release more versions of this that are much better, anyway I wanted to teach you etc etc as this is just a layout
Re: Oldschool HTML CMS (ProjectCMS)
I wanted to say exactly the same thing as winterpartys said, thanks winter :p
You can't create an 'CMS' in html.
So this will always be an normal layout, nothing special about it ;)
@winterpartys that isn't a safe way if you don't use it in classes.
Re: Oldschool HTML CMS (ProjectCMS)
agree with winterparty and pejump this is basically a layout?

Re: Oldschool HTML CMS (ProjectCMS)
Hmm, looks interesting for me, but it isn't a CMS (Content Manage System).
Maybe i'll use it as a template then i make it to a cms .. :D (it sound nice =)).....
7/10 points.
Re: Oldschool HTML CMS (ProjectCMS)
Ah stupid me? I never intended it to be a CMS. It has been a late night. Anyways, I'm sure many of you are smart enough to relise it's not a CMS.
