hi all i feel like im going round the bend with what i think is a stupid noobie mistake so i have to admit defeat and ask. every time i create a new id in the elements.data file server side it crashes the server on start up no matter what i put in it allways crashes luckly i carry a back up lol has anyone had this prob an knew what went wrong. thanks in advance :grr:
Have you added the custom id to client side as well? :) If I'm not mistaken, think you need both for it to work properly, and I'm assuming here you're new to this. What were you trying to add?Quote:

Never got a flat out crash though...
bad ID's in gshop though... that got a crash
well that depends on what u have double... The basic elements.data allready has double IDs...but some items cause crashs =)Quote:

hey all thanks for your fast responces ill break down what i do i go into my server elements file with seledit add a new id i.e a weapon i made i use a id that is not in use at least i cant see it being used then when i save it shut all down then restart my world map doesnt start the /gs (map service) so i never have a chance to go to client side to see if that crashes hope that helps UPDATE.... i fixed it thanks to all that threw there suggestions out
