Need help and advice

my server was up and running fine.. i done a soft shutdown of the server upload 2 files.. task.data and npcgen.data... and the world map would start back when i tried restarting the server... i put the orginal task and npcgen back and it still wont load.. i think its where i shutdown softly via pwAdmin instead of just shut down the server... as i have nvr had this problem before and i am using vbox image pw 1.3.6 w 1.4.2... anyone have any ideas or any files i can add to try to fix this problem

Hint: There is a wonderful thing that Virtualmachines have and its called snapshots, after you get it in a perfectly working state, save a snapshot of it, do some more changes snapshot again, some more snapshot again...

You have no idea how many times that has saved me from little typos that wouldve otherwise broken the entire vm and I'd have to start over...

yeah i got it back working fine as it was just one file that i edited
