Calling all Vindictus players, I recommend if you havn't given a shot do so before Nexon ruins it like they end up ruining most all games they deal with.
It's a FANTASTIC twist on an MMORPG and it runs on my personal favorite engine, the source engine<3.
I personally play a hammer spec'd Fiona on the WEST server, o-o; any other players here wanna drop their char info/server?

I am playing a staff Evie, because I'm usually a healer. I am level 35, and haven't even played daily to get that.
They have been having some lag issues and other problems, but at least it seems like they are still working on them. During double xp it was terrible but overall I do enjoy the game. I think the pace at which they are putting out the releases is good and it is a good time to start playing this game imo.
There are currently only 3 classes available with 2 more to come. Plus its free to play and after playing AION on a paid subscription for over a year, I really wanted to play a free game for a while. This one is good for that.
yea i noticed, its hard to play with other people with out lag, but alone works perfect but it isin;t as fun. i am also really hoping they come out with an archer :) but im lvl 15 atm my names Hiroyasu if anyone wants to play. the nexon game i really want to see in english soon is dragon nest another nexon, if anyone has heard of it.Quote:

Hack 'n' slash is a genre too, which is skill based. Oddly enough the higher up skilled players in Vindictus abuse Animation locking/glitching (Kinda like GunZ) to their advantage. A lot of hack n slash games have things like that, or strategies/combos that work wellQuote:

And yeah Vindictus changes a bit at higher levels, raids, and such. But it's more or less the same. I've always been a puzzle gamer/HnS gamer so it's right up my ally ^_^;
if you like fps i suggest you try out borderlands, not only is there all aspects of fps but quest's and gaining lvls. but i do think out of alllll new online games vindictus is a pretty fun game, still not a game to play all day every day but its is fun to play. im hoping dragon nest comes out soon , but you gotta love picking up monsters and body slaming them on rocks.Quote:

Used to play it. Pretty fun game, just wish it had more character options. The game does start getting a lot more challenging at boat 3+ though.
While I do want to try out vindictus I'm also waiting for tera online, it seems to combine the best of both worlds with action based combat and mmo character development, quests and persistent world.
i saw a yt vid w/ this and it gave you like a huge spider to kill at the start so yeh, me no likey that already xD
