Earthguard Hair and New Head Fash
This is the first time I've released something, constructive criticism is welcome but please be nice :p
Created using Ronny's server + client @1.4.2 on Debian install, alongside with Ronny's downgrade patch.
What's been added:
new lines to elements.data, both client, and server side. If you have custom ids you'll have to reassign the numbers :)
Facedata.pck and surfaces.pck have been updated, I'm new to this so if I've missed anything, please let me know!
If you have custom items in facedata or surfaces packs, check the elements.data for the file path for the new models and unpack/repack them into your own custom stuff.
Big thanks to Ronny for sEledit for his experimental ruleset, and also for the server release!:thumbup: Please note that I did no translations, any future releases of elements.data and the ids/descriptions will have to change or be reassigned :p I did use Google to translate some names which are incomplete to be saved in character creation ini's, so I could test the files. So excuse the rough and ready names :p
Earthguard Hairstyles and new Head Fash
Tested the hairstyles in-game by assigning the following numbers, please see this following post here.
As before, first id is the hair model, 2nd the texture :)

And the below, to prove its working, is one of the most disturbing screenshots of hair male fash yet... I laughed til I cried :lol::lol::lol: , and yes there is worse in there (one would make Elton John envious).

One correction you should have, that is NOT my guide, it was originally made by Ronny by Ragezone had a time error one day and messed that up
I did write that in big letters at the top of the post :lol:

I tried adding these codes into the character files and all that happens is that the character comes up bald when you go to make a new one. I was adding them in just as I had done with the TB hair. Do I have to have anything spesipic other than the codes for the EG hair codes to work?

why not just make the tideborn and genesis head fashion selectable by all characters?
then you wont have to edit that silly .ini file.

We are making it that way for a future patch but because it wont be added quite yet we decided to do it this way till it is added.

Umm so yea i just reailzed there is that download link >.< where do i place it after i have it downloaded? just into the element folder?

Unpack all your *.pck packs, and watch what in each one.

I unpacked them all. I replaced the current one with the new one and it still comes up with bald heads >.> It doesnt have to be on server side right? Can just be client side o.o

Just a quick question, is there a program available to select them. I have 1 that was made by another server to change to tb hairstyles but haven't found a way to add the eg styles to it. if anyone would care to share a program that does this or can make one I would be grateful. alternately how would I add them to the character creation screen?
