Hello again, i have this problem i gonna crazy whit this person, in a few days make my life a nigthmare, i have a intruder who crash the ./gamedbd how can protect, closed or see this IP or player and banned or negate the server, seriously think change the game for another because i dont now what i gona do.
How can somebody kill the gamedbd ? Are you sure this is caused by a player ? Check the log file for that !Quote:

Also you cant exclude a single player, because when he/she wants to bug you, he just creates a new account and login again. Finding his IP will help you almost nothing, all you can find out with it is which ISP he/she is using. If you block that IP, well... there are many ISP that give you a new IP when you disconnect and reconnect. Also there are proxys for hiding static IP to your server.
I guess its not a player, its a broken thing in your database. Check the logs for that.

various pw-service crashs can be injected by the client
this sometimes happens when the player uses tools to modify the memory of the client (cheating tools)
i.e. aggressive HP changing -> HP out of sync -> gs (mapservice) crash
but the map still work, the player are in the map but another want to login cant do it, 2 players whit the same name in differents accounts lol, and the two whit the same id in game but different in the database, i dont kwon is a flood attack i use ./gamesys.conf to see the id when enter and is strange some ids are load but when i checked are offQuote:

The server we have isn't the best example of a stable server, the ones on official PW servers is quite a lot more stable then what we have...

me too. Only instances crash sometimes for unknows reason ( nothing special in logs ) but all other parts run fine.Quote:
