[Xbox,PS3]Mortal Kombat: 9

If you dont know what Mortal Kombat is then wow.

Anyways its a fighting game of the likes of Streetfighter or Tekken with Tons of Gore and Suggestive scenes (If you havent guessed its Rated M)

Its a mainly fictional game as the fact that people that can freeze stuff on command isnt realistic.

The best part of the game is the fatalities where at the end of the battle, if you win, you have 5-7 seconds to press one of two specific button combos for that character, you go to a cut scene where your character basically destroys the other character in a gruesome way.



Now for people that now the Franchise :D

MK9 Is really looking awesome this year. Its a 2d Fighting atmosphere (meaning you fight in basically a staright line, no dodging to the left or right. The background and everything else is rendered in 3d. This gives it a 2.5d appearance.

New to this year as well are X-Ray moves where your fighter attacks your opponent and it goes into Xray and zooms up, showing Ruptured organs or fractured bones. For Example, Sub-Zero grabs his opponents liver from the outside and Crushes it with his hand and then elbows his opponents head, showing the fractured skull and the neck muscles tearing fromt he snap.'


Probably the best thing so far is for the Ps3. God of War's Kratos is added into the mix. You can see his cameo for the game on youtube. Safe to say, he fits perfectly into the game.
