[cFlyFF] Translation Project
Hello,
After lots of work, I finally made a program for cFlyFF that can open the client files. (with lots of help from Duotone :ott1:)
When you choose a file, you can see all the strings (text) it contains and you are able to edit them and repack it to the .wdf file.
Also, I've made a little program that bypasses the hash check of cFlyFF so I can edit the files without being kicked off the server.
So now I'm able to translate the client. *yay*
But, I need the help of the community, I obviously can't do it all by myself.
If you want to help me, contact me.

I'll soon release the string editor and a few files.
Re: [cFlyFF] Translation Project
Many people before you have tried to translate and emulator the CFlyFF. I hope that you have at least been able to make some headway in translating something on these files.
Otherwise your going to be subject to ridicule and flames by ignorant leechers who want everything for nothing.
btw, you should at least put up a picture or something that shows a gesture of good faith.

The people who tried before me all failed due to the hash check.
I fully bypassed it so the problem is out of our way.

That's always a risk when you ask a community to help you.

I haven't been able to do much yet. I finished my program yesterday at ~7PM.
Thanks for the advice!
Re: [cFlyFF] Translation Project
its what I'm here for contrary to a few non believers.
Re: [cFlyFF] Translation Project
I will release a light version of my WDF program along with a few files.
If people show enough interest, I'll maybe upload the full program.

A little comment though, when you see a weird symbol (the second string), just leave it there.
It means that my string listing function couldn't filter it out.
If you remove it/change it, it won't load.
It will probably be filtered in the next release though.
This are the contributions we need.

I'll look into some more when I get the cFlyff client re-downloaded. :)
Edit; My bad! Sorry >.<
I'll do Titles later today, or tomorrow.

Nah, it just means I didn't make it user-friendly enough. xD
Edit: I updated it so that it will only display the Chinese strings (one extra if statement was needed).
I'll soon upload the updated version.
Edit 2: Uploaded. (same link)
Re: [cFlyFF] Translation Project
might I ask is there any programs currently released that can identify VQQ files?
reason I ask is I'm currently working on a program to disipher file names and put them in appropriate folders as they would in eflyff
then as well I'm working on a model converter to convert eflyff's models and bones and animations back to a more common file format where which it can be edited and back again
and thanks to Divine a long while back I know the differences between Cflyff's models and ours and will likely be possible to make a converter for it, though the file names are stored in these such files
Re: [cFlyFF] Translation Project
Yeah i wnt to help but how? I guess onlychinese people can help translate yeah? :/
Also you should upload a chinese client or something, just my 2 cents

Not really, but there is a file called Configure.lua which has all the full filepaths of the VOQ files. I have no idea about other filetypes though.
Re: [cFlyFF] Translation Project
For your information, this project is not dead. It has been paused though.
The reason for that is that I have lots of other projects, this being one of them.
So I'm first finishing the smaller ones and then I will move on to the bigger ones, like this one.
This does NOT stop you to translate the released files though.
