Life

On the topic of life and death, you know how kid's would love to die to avoid homework etc. Made me think on what would I do with my life.

I'm currently studying and have 7 years, give take a few to go. So that's planned out for the next 7 years. I find it quite intriguing on how our parents have lived 20~30 years longer than us, more than twice our age and grandparents more than quadruple years our age. It feels like I'm not even close to what they've gone through in life, and what got them through 40~60 years of life. It's really hard to imagine myself to go through the next 40 years when I'm only 2 quarters there.

So, what keeps you going in life? besides porn. yeah you know you were gonna say that' and you already did. :(

What keeps me going is the basic urge for survival. You cannot beat DNA.

Porn.

having sex with my girlfriends.

Coffee and cigarettes.

Family, weed and beer.

food.

The strange feeling that i must make life as easy as possible.
Sit on a chair, and not have to do any work, except do
stuff i choose.

What keeps me going? I'd guess my legs.

The fact that there's so much to see.
I want to see so much of the world.
That's what keeps me going at the moment

My job, food, video games and girls ofcourse.

Friends and family.
Knowing that I'm important to some people.

While it's never be a bad thing to be needed by the people around you, remember that you are not just that person that someone else needs.

Be your own man, it is fine to help people and be there for them, hell I even took it as a job, but at the end of the day don't see yourself as that guy that is needed by others, but just as yourself and nothing else.

Personally I see a lot of people trying to profile themselves as being needed by others, it can be a welcome feeling to feel that you are more then just yourself, but that way you will loose yourself in others, these people will burn out eventually, other peoples problems become their own and even though you have no real control over other peoples life, you will end up with feelings that you can do nothing about to change them.


As to why I keep going, well the answer is quite simple, why the hell not? I've got more fun living then I would have being dead. ;)

Why I keep going? Simple. An involuntary regulation of muscles that contract and expand, subconsciously through nerves. :tongue:

Kidding. My wife, son and my sister Debi. 3 most important people in my life, they're the reason I try to improve my life.

Life itself. The journey is what keeps me going.

but life isnt about drugs and alcohol, its about experiences just the fact that tomorrow you can have a new experience, meet new ppl, learn about new things, know new places those are the things that define life in its true sense, the wanting to know about everything.

What keeps me going in life? Despite the thought of 5 or so years of further studying in University followd by 40+ years of working just to survive, I guess the thought of what I can do when I'm older and have the finance. I really want to live and work in the States, I want to be successful, I want to be able to hang out with my mates, I want to be able to make them laugh. So long as you have something to work for, I guess that's what keeps you going

Books, laundry and batteries keep me going.
