no only me uses this comp.. my hard drive space hasnt increased since they disapeared either
1) Restart computer
2) Search your comp using teh search function, they might be moved or something.
3) Tools > Options > View > Show hidden files and folders.

There are tools to recover info.
Nothing really gets deleted.
Did you get drunk and delete them? ;) Or maybe you never really downloaded them but thought you did!?
TBH, unless your computer rolled back on you or hates you, I don't see how that could happen..
Maybe it was some sort of virus? Never heard of one like it, but you never know... Did you recently do ANYTHING to your computer, like partition or format something or anything out of the oridinary?
all i do on my pc is download music, play games, use msn n go on rz lol
i got a file restore prog n it found all my missing mp3s tht disapeard but the demo restores only up2 36kb lol so i need to *purchase* the full version

remember in tht *Thread* i said i was downloading a program..before i downloaded tht other thingie majig, well tht program was a mixin program so me being a dick i loaded my whole playlist of 3k+ songs n it was takin fukin ages n it crashed the program... soon after tht i noticed all my songs in winamp were skipping :S
Happened to my friend... his naruto folder suddenly was empty but the space wasn't restored. He transferred all his other stuff to a friends computer and then that friend's harddrive got fried (was unable to boot... but with windows chkdsk I was able to recover all of the files cept for the windows folder cuz that sector of the harddrive was dead).
I didn't bother with data recovery tools cause he just could get the naruto episodes from me. Put both my friends' harddrives in my computer and formatted them. 2nd friend had to buy a new harddrive since the sector was dead but 1st friend's was alright after the format. Really wierd problem tbh... I guess it only attacks anime fans... :shuriken:
all songs restored :D
few were corrupt but in the long run this program i used i fukin loved was a great *buy*

This is one of the reasons why I love having a 80Gb HD, and not bigger...it forces me to save all the anime/songs and other things to DvDs, or I would run short in space =/
