Similar to your 1st. It's too... plain/dull IMO.
Told you to stay away from scan lines and black stroke on every single object.
There is nothing wrong with this gyes,
First your taking it from the view this person is a webdesigner who has done alot of work. It takes time to learn about details that most others totally ignore.
banzaiutd,
Try to do the following. Find a template you really like on the webatm. Don't pick one that is very monotone or easy challange your self with one that you think is beyond your ability. Pick one part of the design you like the most. This can be the buttons, navbar, headers or anything that seems it will challange you to create and you would love to be able to produce. Sit down and work just on recreating this design. It will be hard and you will more likely take a week to design what the origanal designer made in a week but keep doing it. It does not have to be a perfect copy just similar.
This is pretty much the way I learnt. It is not the best way to learn but you will soon find you can create looks in a few months you believed you would never be able to create. Also by doing it this way you will find your own creativity increases as you already know how to do what other people have done.
If this fails just go read some tutorials but many are not very good and will not teach you anything for webdesign that is normally usable outside of a portfolio ^.^'
Improved 100% from your first. I'd suggest you stay with the gradient than some brush background. Read up more tutorials on web designing.

Thanks guys.
@KiddRiu. Thanks alot. It's hard for me since I'm new. I can't challenge myself as I don't know how to use the color scheme. I'm trying as hard as I could. >.<
Really the best way to find the best color scheme is trail and error.
Also look at other sites as these will help you find what colors do and dont work with each other.
ColorBlender.com | Your free online color matching toolbox << good for people who need help.
Also you can download alot of color pallets online if you look
green is such a hard colour to work with.
Lies
Green is piss easy
