Get a desktop.

I Don't really like desktops like that because I travel alot.

macbook air is pretty much like a netbook.
its shash, cant do much,
and even though i hate dells, i would go for the dell.

I would splash out a little more and get a macbook pro imo.

the macbook air is quite a powerful laptop for it's size. It sits somewhere between a netbook and a laptop. It'll be good enough for stuff like office, presentations, videos and the occasional photoshop/ imovieorwhateverthatapplethingis

FYI the Air also have a 9400M ;)

I have a Macbook & am happy with it, go for the Mac.

Get a 2nd hand netbook. All you do is play Habbo and pretend to code so you'll be ok
