Fixing and checking the remaining issues
Known Bugs:
- Shop > Can't buy room decoration items
- Tutorial > Can't progress quests (Because of the missing dbo.USP_MAIL_SEND?)
- Room > Missing Self-Design ASP/PHP Web Scripts (Where do i start to script/find one?)
- Account > Equipments resets upon relog (ANNOYING!)
Checking:
- User to User mailing system (Does it work? I can't test it alone)
- Vs Mode and Tourny should work too right? (I can't test it)
I need someone to point me a direction to fix them before release v0.1 an usable version. And i do have all the missing procedures added into a single Pangya_S4_TH.sql, it has no red error during execution use with the Repack's Bootstrap SQL. (Check for the SQL attached below)
I know someone have the equipment fix somewhere but i don't recall where is it. Now the GS_Log shows only that couple failed queries that i'm not sure how to fix it in the script.

I tried that chio and still fail to save data. 'dbo.USP_CHAR_EQUIP_SAVE_S4' is there in Pangya_S4_TH but just doesn't get through. The log still shows the one i posted on first and GS Console display what i attached.
EDIT: Actually there are something different this time in the log:
First Log: LastSuccQuery(exec dbo.ProcGet_PCBang_Point_Item)
Second Log: LastSuccQuery(exec dbo.USP_USER_ROOM 1)
Well to troubleshoot it, could you post your working 'dbo.USP_CHAR_EQUIP_SAVE_S4' code here please?

The one i posted on my thread is working just fine. i edited it and the work mikumiku submitted works perfectly. try using it again. according to mikumiku. it doesn't save because it doesn't indicate the char ID or something i'm not sure. ^^

I assume it works for the first release because no matter how many times i try it never works on the repack version. I'll edit in this post again to let you know if it works on the first SQL release pack.
EDIT: I deleted the databases and recreated it, added 4 filegroups to Pangya_S4_TH DB, executed 3 main sql files no problem except ini3Bill_DB.sql has a few red lines that i don't remember what it is. Copy paste all the missing procedures from your thread and executed them all no problem. Registered new account no problem, login no problem, and there's no server, retried maaaaany times... RAWR!
And if i press ESC i can't return to the login menu, it just stuck and i have to ALT+F4 to quit client. The weirdest thing is the LG, GS, AUTH logs are all VERY clean, no error or anything to identify the problem. :?:

The repack works just fine, but you need to check the Missing Stored Procedures Topic and the entire original release topic righ after you use the repack. Tsukasa and the other guys posted the sql queries needed to fix that (in the original release topic). Saving characters equipment works perfectly.
For me, the only things that are still missing are the ticker, the mailing system and the tutorial. Maybe something else but I haven't notice it (maybe the ranking)

Thanks for the info, i should focus on improving the repack then. By any change if you could provide the fix that you use? It has been a hassle that everyone say use the missing procedure but non works. I'm near giving up on that now.
And for the ticker i'm not sure what you mean, when i enter msg it deduct points and msg get displayed on ticker here. Do you mean other users can't see it?

About the ticker, nobody can't see them, it shows this <>, I mean, the ones I post and the ones any other person posts, can't see any. Any clue?

Big thank, i'll try read those posts see if i can find any more clues.
And for the ticker i can only test it on the same comp but running 2 clients and 2 accounts. One account send ticker and the second account sees it. See if yours can do that. If can, then that means server doesn't bounce the message over LAN/WAN then localhost/127.0.0.1 etc. Try adjust the bindMSGserver ini file then.

Tourney works fine when doing a 4-person private one (when using a LAN setup, 2 computers with 2 clients each).
As for trophy (10+ players) ones, I don't know.
EDIT: Wait a sec, look at your attachment here...
It talks about a "procUpdateCharacterInfo" failing, not necessarily the Equip Save function...
Looking in the S4 database, I can't find something called that; the closest I have is "ProcUpdateCharacterPCL". Perhaps this could be the issue we're instead facing?
I might be barking up the wrong tree here and it might not even exist (I'm still learning the server and SQL as I go), but are you missing that as well Nickname? For those whose work, do you happen to have that function?

Thanks for the tourny report, i tested Vs Mode with 2 clients and it works.
And i happen missing "procUpdateCharacterInfo" as well. Just "ProcUpdateCharacterPCL". I do you have char save issue too after executed the missing procedures?

Yes, I too have tried all the Char-Equip-S4 things outlined in the various threads with no real success. Then I noticed that possibility... >_<

Darn it, i guess there's no fix for our case at the moment. I guess i'll just release the repack after upped my client. I'm now uploading my 99.9% UI translated client only 609MB to megaupload will post among with the repack release later, thing is.. my net is capped on dialup speed so FML! xD

I'm personally working on some simple tutorial to get people set up and into the game. How long till your repack then? Will it work like the current one (with sequential queries)?

My repack is simple actually, verify the missing procedures make sure the scripts work and are up to the latest then implement to the vanilla sql file. Another word, is the most up to latest repack i hope to release so everyone can have the least to work on and ready up to play faster, except few of those unsolved issues that can be work on later and can release an improved version. What i'm doing now is pretty much like what HenningTM did before. ;)
The client upload is now 324MB out of 602MB, due to unstable 4-8kb/s uplink estimated time i would say 14 hrs left to go will release with the server repack v.2
